The formula is AR raised to power n-1 not AR raised to power n only

In this case I have explained that n refers to the no of periods. n-1 wouldnt work in this case. The nature of the question has prompted the use of n and not n-1

When using n-1 as the power, you will be calculating for the nth term. In this question we're not looking for the nth term, n refers to the no.of periods

The formula for nth term of geometric series is ar^n-1 and you used ar^n, why?
