Hi guys welcome to aclaireytale!! NEW SERIES INCOMING! Disneyland Paris Vlogs 2024!!!!
This vlog will be a FULL TOUR of Sequoia Lodge! I will show you around the hotel, give you a room tour and you can see if you think it is worth it! Is sequoia lodge worth it? Is it good to stay on site at Disneyland Paris? Hopefully this will help you!
I start off by letting you know why I have always wanted to stay at Sequoia Lodge! I actually used to work at Sequoia Lodge 13 years ago in 2011!! I show you the theming and vibes of Sequoia. We then head to the front of the hotel. I show you the Sequoia Lodge entrance and we walk through the front doors to reception. We walk past reception and I show you the Redwood bar and lounge we come back out the way we came and carry on through to the end where it splits off to North and South Wing. We walk past the stairs for the restaurants and I show you where the character interactions/ character meet and greets happen in Sequoia lodge. We got to meet Max, Goofy and Donald in their Sequoia Lodge themed outfits! I show you around the Sequoia Lodge shop. They have all the souvenirs you need for your trip. We go downstairs to the two restaurants. Hunter's Grill has a dining buffet option and then Beaver Creek is where you would have breakfast buffet if you have added this onto your hotel stay. It's then time to go up to the room for a full room tour! I show you the hotel corridors and our room! I show you all the amenities in the room and all the special Bambi theming in the hotel room. I show you the bathroom, beds, room etc. The room is a little dated and it gets extremely hot - just a warning! There are no plugs but they have added a charging point. Hopefully the rooms will be getting renovated soon. Then I go outside to take you to the sequoia lodge pool and health suite. I show you how easy it is to get to Disney Village and the entrance to the parks from Sequoia lodge!

How neat that you were able to be a guest at a hotel you worked at 10 years ago. It looked like a beautiful resort. Loved the theming and loved all the trees outside. Donald was so cute in his outfit. Adorable. Crazy that it was hot in your room in February. Can’t imagine not having A/C in the summer. Thanks for sharing the tour of sequoia Lodge. We love Sequoia Lodge, it always feels cosy (especially in winter, with the fires going) It is so easy to walk to the parks too.

This is a lovely hotel. Warm and welcoming. Nice room with everything you require, if the tv was a little small. Obviously like you said “pre renovation”. The indoor pool is very welcomed on the rainy day you filmed. Great location. Thanks for showing us around.

Ahhhh we stayed there in 2019 for Halloween, and have booked to stay there again this summer! This video has made me even more excited - definitely my favourite dlp hotel!

Hi Claire. I was watching a travel video this morning. I was wondering if you've ever been to Colmar Ithink its called. It's about an hour from Paris. It's the birth place of the man who built both the Eiffel Tower and The Statue of Liberty and it's supposed to be the town that inspired Walt Disney to create Beauty and the Beast. I Thought it might be a rather nice add on for a disneyland Paris stay.

Hi Claire, great video giving us an idea for when we stay there later this year. You’ve mentioned some rooms don’t have air con, however on the Disney website where we have booked it said all rooms have air conditioning? Is this not the case?

Glad you found it helpful! No unfortunately that's not the case. They seem to think there is air con but there's not! They only have it in the newly refurbished Disneyland Hotel. We've had the same problem in Newport Bay as well! Thank you so much for watching!

How busy is the character meeting? Is it quieter than in the parks?

Great hotel, stayed there twice. Also within an easy walk to the Police Station if you're stupid enough to get your wallet lifted on the Metro like me 😮!

@@aclaireytale hi just fyi the hotel was amazing and arranged for a cast member to drive me to the police station and come and pick me up again after, imagine my suprise (embarrassment) when we drove for 5 minutes and were there, it's not far from the car park! The police were very helpful. Well done Sequoia Lodge
