Technically this SHOULD be my Christmas cover for this year, but as I've said on Tumblr it just can't happen this year :( I still want to thank everyone who watches, likes, comments and supports me on here and thanks also for getting me to 300 subs!! Sailor Zakuro I thought Hironani is underrated as well. To me, he was a cool but a gentle Mamoru. I actually enjoyed him a lot in the musicals he was in. =3= I also thought Mikako was a better Tux than Pluto. She sounded strained as Pluto especially on the higher notes and you can tell that she’s not musically trained. She improved though and I love seeing growth in the actors/actress! I’m still super gay for her though. OuO

Oh 🅱 I was surprised but not in a bad way. I was really surprised to see Mizuki higher than Yuuta because that's not the case with most people snbdnd. But I agree with you on Mizuki tho!! I'm not too big on him but I can agree that he’s actually pretty good as Mamoru (his Tuxedo Mask is what was lacking for me) but yeah I guess he gets overlooked because of Gaiden. And same thing with Yuuta!! I like him ngl but I felt bad that I thought he had a dad/mature vibe as Mamoru when he's supposed to be a teenager but I'm glad we can agree on that aspect now ;v; .

Lmao I LOVE Mizuki I have no idea why nobody even remotely likes his Mamoru cos it was SO good to me XD I did like his Tux actually, it wasn't like powerful and masculine like some others but... he had that care for Anza-Usagi which is SUPER important to me XD honestly I like a lot of the cast of Gaiden... which is a shame cos they're always near the bottom of other peoples' lists :/

Same tho. Mizuki was a really good Mamoru (lowkey kinda like his more than Yuuta's) but yeah I just wasn't stricken by his Tuxedo Mask for some reason but it wasn't bad!! His voice sounds really nice too *.* . And yeah TBH Gaiden had a really good cast but since it's the very first musical, people overlook it too much which is really a shame :( .

Yeah, to me he was the perfect Dark Kingdom arc Mamoru XD the only person I have a real issue with in Gaiden is Ayako Morino, other that I either don't mind them or love them XD

Yuuta is number 1, he def. understood the role. Plus classic myu is higher rated because of music and tone of music is better. The newer myus are more monotoned and plus don't compare to anime ver. of sailor moon.

LOL thanks! XD I simply just don't like her as Tux, and I'm not going to pretend that I do XD honestly, a lot of the new releases of Myu don't interest me? Like, I followed the Nelke-Myus cos I'd only watched UNV out of them at the time and it was okay and I ended up liking Amour Eternal XD NogiMyu I do really love, but the Super Live I'm not particularly interested in so I don't bother with it XD I might try and watch it if it is released on video but I can't promise I'll end up watching all of it XD

Yoga is easily my fav but that’s probably mostly my gay self not caring if it’s really the character or not so whatever. I totally respect your ranking of her. Also, yeah, I really did like Mizuki, he was pretty cool when he was there.

Yeah ironically I'm VERY gay yet the most known female Tux is my least favourite XD. It is just a character and performance thing though for me XD. Mizuki was good!! I feel like he just gets forgotten but I loved his arrogant teasing Mamoru XD.

*I'm going to put this comment on the discussion board because that seems like the place for it* ​@@SailorZakuro so hey! I don't need a video on it but which is your favorite Shittennou cast? I kind of love all four of the ones I've seen but as a whole unit my fave is the Starlights -Ryuusei Densetsu cast. Between the cis male actor, the two cis female actresses, and the trans actress they had the most amazing harmonies and had the nice effortless low notes. My favorite Shitennou song is By Heaven (I've been listening to it like 5 times a day for a week or two now and while I won't ignore the mere-exposure effect, I loved it the first time I heard it) though I do love Erosion Boy. The all-female castings just seemed to have a harder time with some of those lower notes, I think, especially the La Reconquista cast. I haven't yet seen the Kakyuu Neo-Shitennou performance but I am about to. The Nogizaka cast is what made me fall in love with Jadite but they do still have some of the low note problems. The original Gaiden Dark Kingdom cast was good but I think they were overshadowed by their epaulets and aside from their final bows tumbling routine and the student A student B nicknames, I really don't remember them much. But those are just my thoughts. Stuff I forgot to mention: The Nogizaka Moon cast recording had my absolute favorite Shittenou moment in that flashback scene where they just kind of get shoved onto stage together and make some joke that is totally lost in translation that I love anyway, not to mention the final thank you's group hug, they're all so cute!

Yuga to me it’s the worst. It always feel like she was playing a fan service version of Mamoru/Haruka. The songs never sounded masculine at all, it was more like a brother to Usagi than a romantic interest. Also his story was too forced, I know she’s a well know actress, but they make her Mamoru almost as the center in all the musicals sometimes even taking time from the inner senshis

Oh Yuga was definitely there for fan service, mainly the Takarazuka fans giving them a reason to even go see the musicals (cos the 20 year anniversary of Sailor Moon wasn't enough?) and them making his purpose to basically steal the show and make everyone gawk at her. It was quite cruel to her really XD.

Some of these rankings surprised me ahaha Oh man, I sure miss the male Mamorus...though I wish they casted actors who were closer to Moon's age more often :/ Personally I 'm not that fond of Yuga's version of Mamoru either (like, personality wise, and the way her fame sometimes made tux kinda the center of the scenes when he shouldn't be)...I'm glad to hear Mikako was a pleasant surprise though (I haven't watched nogimyu yet, still hoping for subs!)

Lol my opinions are very unpopular a lot of the time XD. Age appropriate casting is really good for Moon/Tux, a lot of the later pairings couldn't seem to go in depth since they cast Moon so young or Tux so old (Yuga 40, Hotaru 19...). Yuga's casting as Tux I feel was purely for publicity, cast someone popular and people will come see it. I think that's why she got SO much publicity and exposition rather than, you know, the actual senshi XD. Mikako was great as Tux, at least in my opinion better than her Pluto! I believe subs are being worked on so hopefully it won't be too long, but it is certainly enjoyable without subs!

you sure have strong opinions ahahaha but some choices seem on point to me - Kenji Urai is certainly one of my faves too.... I think that with an actress as Mamoru the age difference must feel less awkward than with a guy, the cast feels more at ease - but still, yeah, close ages should be the norm... Like, my one problem with Y. Mochizuki was his age, cause otherwise he was so obviously LOVING being in seramyu that I couldn't help liking him, guy was great... and thankfully he and Anza seemed to get along well (still do, judging by that concert years back!) oh I'm guessing you are not as fond of Mikako's Pluto, but I love her ahaha Yeah i'm hoping that since nogi's dvd is out we may be getting subs soon.....fingers crossed!

Yuuta was a great Mamoru, but you're right his age was more close to Rei Saitou's who I believe they actually went out?? Idk someone said it once can't remember who XD. I still see photos on Anza's instagram of her and Yuuta! They seem to be the only Moon/Tux pairing from Bandai that are still in touch. At least publicly XD. Lol I should have a Pluto ranking on here somewhere, Mikako's not very high up XD. Got no problem with her as a person, I think she's sweet, but her Pluto just doesn't work for me.
