WOTV News: FF14 Returns In December

To be honest, i love the idea of thancred going full tank in wotv. A shame that more of the scions were not introduced into wotv though.

Im so mad it's taken so many years for me to get another chance to finish off that VC from this banner. They need to make generic VC spheres/shards so we can slow build off banner cards. And I'm always happy for a chance to get a decent light element unit.

My impression is that any of these units are easily upgradeable. Most units can be calculated at launch according to the meta. To clarify, I avoid launching 3 meta units of the same element, or from the same group, or I balance it through vcs. We know this. All dps units operate with 2 buffs and multi role. Give Thancred attributes of Cloud's level. Maybe something else unique, like Ramza's Shout, something similar in relevance. Then, make it cause a status effect or 2. With improved chance, 35, 40 base. Correct the aoes, give him bulkiness. Considering that Thancred would be easily reincarnated, and that there are several exclusive items that can be included in the collab, I think it is easy to solve his return to the game. And, of course, a limit break preferably.

That's pretty good news! ☺️ Just a bit strange that they're announcing this Collab re-release 1 month before the date. Normally we always have a non-FF Collab around the end of December in JP, hope FF14 will not replace this future new collab 🥺

Maybe we'll get the new MC of Dawntrail as a new unit since both new VC sre from it. Usually 2 new VC means one for new unit and the other is either low cost/free.

DOOOD my lalafell would look so sick with that mont outfit. hahaha! i just hope it's not a single set but one where we can mix and match the pieces. i can already see myself using a different hand and leg piece that i already have to make it look better. btw do you know if these sets will be permanently sold in the online shop or is it just an event thing?

Hopefully they buff the 14 units. Thancred was always the worst 100 cost unit.

I was right about FF 14 but it coming in December, well that's checks out. Plus it's now about the new game update..... is awesome news

I hope they upgrade Thancred to the point he becomes the Meta defining unit. The poor guy deserves it after being the worst 100 cost unit for the games existence. The funny thing is, neither of these two characters play much of a role in the new expansion.

I think it would be awesome if they made WOL (FFXIV) viper class as a new unit, sadly it’s just wishful thinking. Or maybe add Krile or another main story unit.
