Back when Stormblood had first released, I realized I could solo Moogle Mog on my Red Mage in around 5 minutes or so. Back then, Demimog was selling for 300k a pop on my server, so I made around 60,000,000 gil in a couple weeks. Those were the days.

Another thing that's just reliably good is element-warped box farms and rabbit FATE running in Eureka. The rabbit fates just pay out a small sum of gil on their own, and some of the warped box farms for the later areas pay out a sizeable amount of allagan coins [even going as far as the gold and platinum coins]. That's one of my personal favorites to just. Shut off my brain for a few hours 'til an instance decides to boot me out if I have the full 3 hour timer available to me. Though it's much, much easier after you've actually cleared the entire thing, so. Barrier for entry isn't quite as accessible as your suggested options. :P Still, funny how all of your tips here are like. 80-90% of what I'm already doing for the past few years for lazy, fair gil.

The EW bicolor vouchers also sell for an absurd amount still, and, if you hunt a bit, you can nab the 500 needed for the fallen angel wings and for about 70% the going cost of the wings (I'm on aether and they're on average of 85-90million on most worlds). I've nabbed the 500 for under 60mil in the past and made profit on the back end. Anything south of 180k per voucher is net profit towards the wings. While it's about a 6min run with my SAM (ilvl 727), Holminster Switch with seal sweetener 2 up, will nab over 30k gc seals. Also, Dynamis is a piggy bank of nabbing cheap dyes even gen black and white.

Yeah... I need to get back to my Island Sanctuaries.. But after doing them weekly since release on three characters, i got pretty burnt out! Drained all of their cowries making tons of money off grade IX materia when DT first came out, and haven't been back since the felicitous vouchers dropped to sub-10k gil each. (last i looked they were down to 3k on my server)

i'm working on one Alt rn for the retainers. They can gather stuff as combat retainers for my main. :D But i totally get it. I have the Retainers so to speak and why not utilize it more?
