Serato DJ & Rane Twelve Glitch Problem

Same issue using two 12's and the Rane 72. First time it happened was using the 2018 macbook with mojave os. Then using with 2015 mac High Sierra OS it was doing the same but this time when i would move the pitch the screen would glitch.

Okay so I was wrong about my theory I think. I just got my twelves today and had the same thing happen to me as it did in your video. Also another thing I noticed was that one deck always faster than the other even though both at zero pitch and bpm remains the same in Serato. What I did was just play the same tracks through my mixer without the twelves and the tracks stayed locked 100% of the time. I don’t know if it’s the twelves or a combination of the twelves and Serato Or like someone said out MacBooks. Anyway I returned them and ordered reloop 7000s and will use Serato that way. Hopefully no more problems. I will report back after I get the turntables.

yes i can confirm that decks not exactly playing same speed at zero speed, but i can live with that, more important is to get the glitch fixed

Hi, this happens nudging from the platter or/and from the vinyl, im also sure its an serato issue, but its still there also on current sdj 2.1.1

@@ridvankornaz yess it's Serato problem. Play with Serato 2.0.5 -> that version = stable / no glitch... So Serato must fix this !!

no but I'm thinking its Serato and not the controller, because the controller doesn't control the sync of the tracks. And I noticed in the past if the computer your running Serato on isn't up to par then these things happen. I just ordered my twelves today and will try them out for a few weeks and if I see anything with them ill be buying regular turntables

Hello, I'm sure it's Serato Problem. I use Serato DJ Pro Since One year with Numark V7 (motorized platter's like your Rane twelve). I same the same problem just after install the 2.1 version (Same with 2.1.1). I have created ticket: ----------------- Hi, Since Serato DJ Pro version v2.1 (same with v2.1.1). yes you can send this video to serato, i think also its same issue, the twelve (i think same on numark v7) send just a contious midi signal to serato

I have changed all the options in parameters and i have discovers that when i am in 45T mode i have the same problem like you. And when i put 33T mode, the problem disappears. May be can you try to change this option to 33T mode instead of 45T mode? @@ridvankornaz Damn, That means that is not the same exact problem? Maybe the same problem but with different options according the hardware? I don't know. Have you this problem with v2.0.5 of serato dj pro? On Serato DJ Pro v2.0.5 i don't have the jump problem with 45T. Only since 2.1 and 2.1.1. The jump is random in the song position? or like me, always in the same moment (5'37 for me)? Have you try change some options and test when you have the jump or not like me? (right, that take more and more time 😣)

@@technologicdjset8731, i didnt try 2.0.5, but it looks like same problem, this happens randomly on my side, it happens when touching the vinyl, if i let them play without touching the vinyl, there is no jump

That sucks man, how are you mixing with this problem/? have you tried a powered usb hub? I was told by Serato they are aware of the problem and are working on it but do not have a date as of yet when it will be fixed.

Apparently Serato has been able to recreate the problem and are in the process of fixing it. Not sure how long that will take. Try Serato version 2.0.5 for now. I haven't experienced any glitches since using that version

both have the same issue, one is with connectors on rear and one is with connectors on bottom (new one) dont sure how to check the firmware version of them

@@ridvankornaz i have the original it often bugs out.. Freezes Serato, or randomly turns off, amongst other things. I need to send it in.. But haven't done it. Good luck to you!

see if both have the issue which doesn't make sense its most likely Serato and your computer. this is the first time I have seen a post like this and for it to be old version and new version. I BELIEVE that if it was the controller you would see the BPM changing and/or change when the skip happens. If you look at your deck BPM it stays locked the entire time @ 105.8 This confirms that the deck isn't responsible for this and confirms Serato and or PC are having trouble processing all of the information and keeping your tracks synced together. Im an electrical engineer by trade and I might be wrong but everything I see tells me its a software problem. I hope this helps I would run a CPU and Memory Monitor while your using your equipment and see how much RAM and CPU usage is being used up.
