Great video. I’m definitely gonna pick it up. Had been looking at an MPC One, but since I mainly only make tracks in the crib anyway, I think this will do me for a while. I’m just getting into Logic. Thanks bro!!!! The MPC One is beast for sure. But you can go super far with Logic and Serato Sample. I come for the MPC 2000 era and I love the Serato Sample and Logic work flow. Super dope for digging. 💯

Awesome vid!!! What's your thoughts compared to the logic sampler Ex sampler 24?

Thanks! I think the 24 is good, but showing its age. I mean, you can do a lot of things on the 24, but how other modern samplers have streamlined their interface and usability is much better now. Serato Sample is very strong at chopping, time, pitching and sound manipulation, but not really the same category as the 24, i.e. the 24 is much more robust in terms of sound editing. Where the Serato Sample I think is way better a quick creation and helps with the creativity. Hope that helps?

You’re welcome. Interesting. I take it you can see the letters on the serato plug-in ? Sounds like it maybe a glitch. Or maybe check the settings to see if you have the options to hide the letters in the gui. Which I don’t think you do. May have to contact tech support for that.

I wish... But unfortunately not. Hopefully, though, they will update Serato Sample to be able to do this as Studio One 4 does.. :)

I have a question for you bro? I chopped some drums and recorded them but when I loaded my sample it replaced the drums.what did I do wrong?

Ben Boogz did you chop the samples in serato sample ? Or did you chop it via logic tools ? Always when you drag and drop and wav form into serato sample it will replace the current sample. Not like battery when you can drag samples to separate pads.

Ben Boogz so yeah. If you drag and drop a new sample in Serato Sample it will overwrite the current sample in place. Best bet is to duplicate the track and load the new Sample in that track. Because you will keep the original in tack. 👍does that help ?

Ronnie Roddy Jr. not sure if I understand the question correctly. But all the tracks dragged into Sample are audio tracks. Once I chop and play the sample back it’s a midi tracks playing audio samples of that makes sense?
