I honestly think that Serbia is very capable in defeating anyone as long as they got their game going strong, but fans thought way too ahead, they might have forgotten that there are teams to beat first before they can compete for the finals.. I'm glad you admit to being biased. I'm American and Australia plays tough defense also. I havent watched a lot of the games because they're on so late, but those guys are physical. I still dont think any teams matches the US overall athleticism, and coaching. But that's also biased. Imo the best coach in the tourney is Popovich. The only reason they have a disadvantage is the lack of chemistry compared to a lot of the other teams.

Suffocating defense by España held the Serbians under 70 pts. They were hedging hard on screens while doubling quickly on key decision makers. Their stingy defense got under Jokić's skin and cost Serbia their best player. Wonder where Boban Marjanović was during this game. He could have helped protecting the paint since Spain scored a lot in the paint.

You have to know that FIBA's basketball is getting closer to you every day, step by step. I know we're still far and we'll probably never be able to get your basketball level for too many reasons, but there's also people all around the world with lots of skills and the capacity to play this sport and compete with the best basketball players.
