Cats don't need pals :) they are territorial animals and they like loneliness. They can adapt and be with other cats, but it's not an obligation and they are all good by themselves :)

Adèle Dunant it depends. I would say if a cat is indoors only, it’s actually preferable to have a second cat for some extra stimulation (provided they get along, as most do, aside from unneutered males). Indoor cats get bored very easily.

Now if the poster is vegan, then cool😅 I'm vegan and my cats did hunt for non hormone, organic food ( unlike the can food) , but I trained them to just play with them and release. Eventually they did. Cats are not meant to be hindered roaming freedoms imo.

What beautiful spaces for your cat, who lives in heaven!! Your cat has 3 different Catios, and I'm sure he knows how lucky he is. You are an excellent pet parent. Unfortunately, people who rent would rarely have the type of landlord who would agree to this building construction. It's unfortunate when you're not a home owner.

It must be expensive. I have 12 indoor cats. Live on a budget. I care for them the best I can. Also feed approx. 12 strays. My house is tiny. I wish I could build a catio for my fur babies. I really want them to enjoy the outdoors and feel happy...live in an avenue. Seen to many killed, had to bury a few.

I like the idea of the window box catio - good option for people who live in small apartments. It's just cruel to keep you cat locked up indoors all the time. Nice to have a way for them to indulge their natural instincts safely.

It's no fun exploring without another fur baby to share it with lol... But , I love this catio design and want one just like this for my two fur baby's .... Catio's keep cats healthy , happy and ( safe ) as a cat owner people must be aware of birds of prey !! I had two of my fur baby's killed by very large owls that were hunting our neighborhood for weeks..... I was too upset..... Catio's are a blessing in more ways than one ❤️

This is really good for me, as a cat person with 6 cats, because now I know my cats are safe outside, especially living next to a main road. I have had too many cats go missing or be hit by cars driven by people who can’t drive and this means me and my babies can find a common ground x.

It's important to note that any branches or tree stumps you add are full of bugs and mites that will get on your cat. Better option to look for branches at a pet store that are fully sanitized. They cook the branches to kill everything.
