That was the yearJankovic was making a comeback. Serena won all of the clay tournaments she played that year 2013. But how impressive Serena was to turn this match around after losing the first set to only losing two games throughout the rest of the match. She was definitely the best player in the world at the time.

I remember how nervous I was when Serena lost the first set and I was like "not this shit again" after she already fought Sharapova in a 3-set match at Miami's final a week before, but Serena knew how to regroup throughout the second set as she started to adjust to Jankovic's level and she cut down the errors then in the 3rd set she played superbly and clenched the title ❤️ 2012-2015 was such a glorious period for me as a Serena fan.
