Dang, the part where she says "my own reflection, is it deception? How could this be my face?" I really felt that. Lately, I've had this feeling (at the risk of sounding cheesy) like I don't know who I am. but playing Zelda, I feel like I know who I am and what I'm supposed to do. I couldn't imagine a better voice to sing this song.😁

1:30 The line "we were just children" always stings. Like Link, Zelda and a few of the sages were just children at the start of the game. They were just children when they had their entire lives stolen out from under them and when they had the weight of the world thrust upon them.

@@poopidkwhy5929 Sheik is distinctively a male disguise though. You can argue however much you want on whether or not Zelda literally changes her gender when disguised, but Sheik's appearance in OoT is specifically male to better fool Ganon. Everyone uses male pronouns and Sheik's figure in game and official artwork show a male form. They just made Sheik more and more feminine looking over the course of the years in Smash since transforming was originally a mechanic and it brought less confusion.
