Omg I have this kodiak tent...it's pricey...it's heavy...and worth every penny. Have the 10x14 for the 4 of us and there's so much room. We absolutely love it! Went camping last week and poured for 1 night straight. No drips and stood up well. During major heavy downpour, lightning and thunder, we only had a mild mist coming through (only during the major downpour). I highly, highly recommend this tent.

The tent shown in your video I believe is the VX version due to the very nice triangle shaped side windows. And I think it's about $100 more than what you link. Yes?

Lag bolt stakes and Impact wrench can make the set-up time so much faster. Your videos are produced so professionally. I had to keep reminding myself I was not watching a commercial from Kodiak tents 😄.

I got that daisy chain from eBay. It’s a no name brand. Try searching for leather daisy chain? Maybe you can find something similar.

Always wrap a towel around stakes you are hammering in, so if you slip miss you don't harm the canvas

Hey! This place is called table mountain and we stayed at one of the first come first serve sites. I think these were better than the sites you can reserve. Hope this helps

Hey! Good question..hmm I think there are pros and cons to both tents. We honestly like both brands so it’s hard to say which is better. However, if you’re looking for a more affordable and simple setup, I do recommend the Kodiak Canvas. Especially for winter camping it’s super cozy and spacious. Hope this helps a bit!
