This is the story of Richard I, The Lionheart, King of England, & the 3rd Crusade in 1190 to reclaim the Holy City of Jerusalem, from Saladin, who captured the city in 1187. Jerusalem was mecca to not only the Jewish people, but also to Christians & Muslims. This album & their earlier albums all have a historical theme. Bands like "Serenity" & "Sabaton" are great History teachers. Knowing History is a great way to learn from mistakes made in the past & hopefully learn from those mistakes & not repeat them. Sorry, didn't mean to teach or preach. History & great music have always been a passion....Peace.

Honestly, they could've gone the extra mile and made it semi-form-fitting. Chain mail armor was literally wrapping around a warrior instead of dangling around like a bag, because when it's wrapped, it's less cumbersome to carry out and literally feels like a second layer of skin, but while bits of it dangle around, it's somewhat harder to move around with it. But, heck, it's still great that they went with period-appropriate armor, so... DEUS VULT!
