Great interview, Jeff. Serge is certainly to the point but so genuine as well. Lots to learn from him!

Brilliant pigeon man, really needs to sort out the hawk problem. Maybe a few fancy birds let out in the winter time could help??

What I have done to have fewer hawk attack's. I do not have Aviaries. The Birds can see out of the loft's . I place a very small (Three Foot by Three Foot) settling cage for the young birds on the landing board. So, they can become familiar with the area. I know aviaries would be better, but to me Aviaries look very similar to pigeon trap so because the hawks can see them all the time they are attracted to the aviaries. Had a friend who had large aviaries and he had serious hawk problems he lived just four miles from me. I lose pigeons to hawks but very few. Just some general information to think about. I still have a family of William Geerts Pigeons Joker, Bullel, Kas and The Olde Witstarrt etc. and Elsaker pigeons going back to the Wezel. Lange Blue.

Oooooh Nice! I was wondering if another interview would happen. Glad the wait wasn't long. Time to feed the addiction. 😁

Took me on a trip down nostalgia lane with his 1st loft. I remember the days of seeing 2 old pigeon lofts as a kid that had been abandoned years prior. Decades of pigeon wisdom in this video. Appreciate you taking the time to interview/edit/post. "Open vents drives me nuts", I can sympathize with that statement & I don't know that it really matters but I still don't care for it. 😁
