Using the Serge VCFQ filter as an attenuator an CV processor . . . thank you Adam Hulbert!

Great. It is also nice to use BP filters to select parts of a complex CV

Todd, I really enjoyed this new way of using filters. I often see the little SQ1 in your videos and patches and wonder if you could maybe highlight how you use it and what you like about it in particular in a minute or two in a future video, please

Bloomin brilliant! Would never have thought of that - thank you for sharing. Stay safe!

I was really surprised at the results of the other circuits compared to the low-pass circuit! Cool trick!

Great use of the VCFQ

I have done this several times in my euro with both the Belgrad and the Pico filter. Allthough, only with lowpass. Never really thought about trying the other types on the Belgrad. I have to play more with this :)

Geir Opdal cool, let me know what you discover!

@@vgermuse If it gets interesting enough, maybe I'll make a video :)

Geir Opdal that would be cool!

very cool! I usually use mine in audio feedback patches but haven't dug into CV. seems like with feedback you have the beginning of a 1D chaos circuit? very cool

by putting the filter in LO mode, can't you also get VC slewing on the control voltage (most noticeable on a staircase or sequencer output) because the cutoff of the filter is in the sub-audio range?
@timnordberg72044 жыл бұрын
by the same token, can't the highpass output achieve a response that's more similar to the lowpass by putting the filter in LO mode and turning the cutoff all the way down--extending the passband into the sub-audio range?

Quad osc too!

LowGainElectronics Quad osc as in Quatrature or 4 separate oscs? Please more on this Logan :-)

Is this more of a function of the gain than the filter ?
@vgermuse3 жыл бұрын
Surely seems like a combination, hmm food for thought and further exploration

Is this also possible with other serge filters?
@vgermuse4 жыл бұрын
Raoul van herpen I haven’t spent a lot off time but the variable slope vcf did seem to have much, or was very subtle. The waveshaper has lots of interactive and potential processing curves and shapes. More later
