So...I have watched so many different video tutorials to learn stuff in FCPX. Some are just terrible and some are helpful, but I need to say that yours have been incredibly easy to follow and easy to replicate to learn from. Thank you. Second... You need to have more subscribers... More folks can be learning from these videos!!

I've been watching FCPX vids most of the day and this is one of the best I've seen. No extra talking, to the point and packed with information! Keep up the great work! (and the first I've taken the time to post a comment to)

This is a clear explanation. But I'm still having trouble. I'm zooming in on photos that I am first resizing to fill the screen. When I go to transform/crop the photo goes back to the original size. Pointers please. Many thanks.

Was trying to import those Letterbox freebies but wouldn't take on FCPX. I tried importing into Transitions, Effects or Generator folders in FCPX but doesn't work.

How to add Letterbox file to FCPX after downloaded and how to insert It into a clip? Also, with the latest version of FCPX, The letterbox template is already built in Effects, so there no need to download a third party Letterbox template, correct?

I like your videos, the brisk pace, and interesting topics. Now, I would like to know how, if I rotate and image 360 degrees during the video, how do i keep the frame borders from showing. I can scale image, but how much. There must be a logical way to approach this.

HI Serge, great video, question is how do you make the key framed (moving image) come to a smooth stop instead of an abrupt stop?. Thanks.
@Serge19136 жыл бұрын
If you’re using the transform tool for keyframing, right click on the keyframe in the viewer, then you get to select Linear or Smooth. I actually have a video about that coming next week (Apr. 14)

Love your tutorials! Is there a way using key frames to straighten an horizon that is tilted up and then down at either end of a pan? Cheers
@Serge19137 жыл бұрын
Yes! What you have to do is key frame the rotation parameter in the transform tool

I am learning a lot from your tutorials, this one is another great example. You asked for ideas for future tutorials, so here is a topic that mystifies me. If you have covered it before, could you point me in the right direction. OK.... so my situation is that I have a new fast external SSD that I am creating my new projects on, with original media NOT imported in to FCPX. Proxy and Optimized are on that drive, within the FCPX library. When I am done with a project and it is shared, I want to move the library to my bigger HHD, and I want to move the original files too, making more room on that SSD. I am not clear exactly how to do all this without loosing the linkages. And... can I move projects or only entire libraries? This topic also would include the broader discussion of optoins and strategies for importing, organizing and moving libraries and projects. Thanks for all you do!

I just don't get it bro, I've watched hundreds of tutorials/learning content and a lots of claimed or promised whatever, but in reality they were just clibaejust and some are just trash and they may have more subs than a channel that it is actually worth it, like your "LPTGuy KZbin channel". I really appreciate channels that have actual benefits and just all around enhancements to all subs looking for it! Many Many thanks brother! Peace!
