Hey, do you think you could teach the chords for somewhere over the rainbow? I think that would be a good song to learn.

+Jarod Krupp Unfortunately I can't because it is held under copyright. Here's a website, though: mandotabs.com/i/israel-kamakawiwoole/somewhere-over-the-rainbow-what-a-wonderful-world/

Would you be able to do a Jerusalem ridge tutorial video? And old fiddle tune in Am, I'm sure you know the one,

Unfortunately Jerusalem Ridge is a Bill Monroe/Kenny Baker composition and is copyrighted. Great tune though! There are tabs floating around the internet.

what is your string height on 12th fret?? It looks pretty low
@MandoLessons
@MandoLessons 9 жыл бұрын
I'm not sure what the hight is, but I would say my action is solidly in the territory of "medium". It can go lower, but I feel like at a certain point you start compromising volume, tone, and projection if it gets too low (on any fretted instrument).

I have been following along just fine, watching you play and working with the printed copy of the tabs.However, when you went to the second part, your playing no longer followed the tabs. Were you aware that the tabs were not coordinated with what you were teaching?

Thanks, I wasn't aware, I will look into it!

On further inspection, they seem to be the same to me. What particular measure(s) are you referencing? Thanks!

OK, looking at the end of the second line of tabs, the last two note are actually the start of part B of the song, as I understand it. The 7 notes just before the last two were not covered in the video. This may just be my perception, but when played all together, it sounds like what you played.

Those last notes in the last measure on the second line are pick up notes to the B part, so they are technically the last few beats of the A part but are musically more connected to the B part. The part in question is at 9:40 in the video. I hope this helps, thanks for the question!
