To everyone saying this is ballet: it's actually lyrical. Different shoes, different emphasis within the performance, and a lot more emotion, while ballet focuses more on the technical aspects and making it look pretty. Lyrical is pure emotions, which this man has managed to capture quite well.

Didb's know that but explains why I much prefer this more interpretive style.

Wow... this is such an emotional performance. I can't dance at all, but it feels like I'm watching an expression of the inner torment that haunts me at my worst moments. Like a kind of frustration at never really being accepted when you just want to be yourself. It's beautiful, saddening, and overall incredible. He did such an astounding job of capturing the emotion of not just the song, but the music video. It's strange that a straight guy (assuming about hozier) could so accurately capture the anxieties I feel as a gay man in a music video. Then to watch this... I mean, well done! Amazing!

i feel like theres something inside him thats wants to explode and his physical body is limiting him from that. he has something to express and say but he is holding back. very beautiful and enchanting piece. it seems like he wants to go wild or express himself fully but cant.
