It’s a refreshing change from the 60s sound, very innovative. You have to understand as time goes by, styles evolve and it’s actually interesting to see how Sergio Mendes has evolved his music from the 60s, 70s, and early 80s. I’m a musician myself, and have always been a a fan of his music, from all his different eras! It’s great that KZbin is around to feature all this music of his.

@@michaelvillarosa they were trying to stay commercial by making a disco song, which was a dumbed down beat for the masses and has not stood the test of time. Bossa and samba have. That said enjoy the music if it’s your thing, I know many do.
