Magic Mask is completely broken in Resolve Studio. As soon as you scrub the timeline the changes disappear.

Hi Anel! You will not be able to convert white or black into colors and gray will be complicated, but you can convert white to black and vice versa by inverting the colors of the video. Keep in mind that black is not considered a color, it is the absence of light. *(You can do it by converting black to white and then playing with the color wheels but it won't look natural)

For me magic mask seems to only work for 1 frame or for some kind of preview.. IDK... After selecting the mask, it works fine, but when I hit the play button the whole effect disappears.. The "Track forward and reverse" button also does nothing, it displays some error text on playback window "please select a power window and enable the interactive tracking first".. I must be missing something but I haven't got a clue what this means... what kind of power window.. 😅😅

You should do the tracking in the Magic Mask menu; you are trying to do the tracking from another menu.
