The Recipe: 3 cups cooked hummus 1 cup tahini (we used Al Arz Tahini, www.alarz.co.il/en, but you may use any 100% pure sesame based tahini) 1/2 cup lemon juice 1 teaspoon salt (you can put more or less depending on how you like it) Some cold water for consistence and color brightening. Garlic sauce: 1 clove smashed garlic 2 tablespoons olive oil 1 tablespoon Harissa (forgot to mention in the video) 1 teaspoon salt

I’ve watched this a few times because I very much like your parents. Your mother’s spirit has such a womanly strength of God as my mother and grandmother had. Your father absolutely embodies the fruits of the spirit. It is so obvious in his being. As a father of four beautiful girls, I can see his love and commitment to God through his voice and eyes when he talks with you both. It makes me happy to see good people of God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. I was recently medically retired from my career as a Deputy Sheriff, and I have lived my life in the middle of California. The vast majority of the San Joaquin Valley is farms and ranches. I am on almost the exact same latitude as you are in Israel, and want very much to spend some time in the land of the Bible. Cheers and keep making videos. If you want really creamy hummus like from the store, take the time to remove the outer skin of the chickpeas after they’re cooked (Tip: put a couple bay leaves in the water while cooking them). Just pinch them at the end and the skin pops off. It takes me only 10 or 15 minutes to do that to a batch. It’s tedious but once you get in the rhythm it goes fast and is totally worth it. And adding some good EVOO (olive oil), garlic cloves, and cumin really sets this recipe off and takes it to another level. And I like putting fermented pepper paste, smoked paprika & and a drizzle of EVOO on top when I serve it. You’ll never want to eat store bought hummus ever again! 🤠
@u235u235u2354 жыл бұрын
thank you for your input. their recipe is frankly amateur hour, and does NOT create mind-blowing humus. they MUST remove the husks for extra creamy humus. the husks are very fibrous and add nothing to flavor and take away from creaminess. i personally like one clove of garlic, not much more, and olive oil as you said. their title is misleading, as they use more than 3 ingredients for finished product.

Over this past weekend I made your hummus recipe. It was a huge hit, my whole family raved over it. I added roasted garlic to it for a little variation. In the stores it’s usually made with raw garlic but I find it too offensive. Lol. Thank you for sharing and God Bless you.

I found this recipe about 3-4 years ago, and I never try to find other recipes, that’s the one for me. Thank you!

Excellent video and recipe. But what makes this video even more "special" is the genuine "bond and love" of father and daughter sharing a traditional recipe. Ohhh and the answer to why three ingredients only ( Father - Son - Holy Spirit ) "tops" the video even more !!! God Bless you both for sharing this awesome video.
