IT wasn't that he didn't use attack move. The game handles out of screen units differently, with this many units they just passed through each other outside of the screen, probably to save processor usage. You can see on the mini map it is exactly outside of his screen. You can see at 3:03 that they start killing each other when he moves the screen to their location. You can sometimes in normal games sometimes that peasants take weird paths just after finishing buildings. And when you switch the screen to their location the path gets "corrected" and the peasants spas out for quarter of a second.

Got really mad about Janissery of the Turkey tho... they have sword (on their bell) but they cannot go melee like the Musketeer..... Jannisery were good at the melee... but the game remove that.....

You guys played the game yet? It's optimization is horrible it's one of the main reasons it has mixed rating on steam.

LosEagle Yes I have it. It plays so much like the original. The AI is a bit smarter. Game runs ok on my system (which is 6 years old) but I do get memory read errors a lot. I'm able to recover from most by control/alt/del bringing up my task manager, then alt tabbing to the error message and dismissing it. Usually 2 or 3 times and game starts again.

battle animations are so silly. This has nothing on AOE III and that's more than a decade old. There are only ants vs more ants.

I totally disagree. Cossacks was great in 2002 and it is great now. Age of Empires looks like its for kindergarten.

That's how Cossacks and American Conquest are. Battle animations are simplistic and units tend to die fast, just the style of the game really.

lol get AOE III with all the amazing expansions and you can hardly feel the need to spend on this. AOE games were ahead of their times man. Im only comparing AOE III and Cossack III because they are set relatively in the same timeframe. Have you played this one? Have you tried the MP? I can assure you MP is not for kindergartens. And you opinion is just not true. The game received a very positive feedback and critique and it isn't even considered the best AOE

they are very simple by necessity. you cant do much fancy stuff when you want to have 10000 units on the field while maintaining a playable framerate.
