The *only* thing that upsets me about him dying is that he took the *names, what happened to them, and their burial spots* of the women in those other photographs of his to the grave, because now that he's gone, the women in those photographs will *never* be found or properly laid to rest, and their families will never be able to tell their loved ones goodbye or find peace like the others were. Those women will be Jane Does, forever linked to a monster, and that's the saddest, most upsetting part for me.

The predators are out there, in droves. Be so very careful whom you trust, and if you're going to go, ID the character, get their plate numbers & address (write these down & give them to friends. I know that's a popular take, but that can't possibly be true. Repeats among paroled rapists, murderers, etc is actually quite low. A lot of these people have had their own trauma, once dealt with, are actually reformed. Some not, like this guy, or some of the other serial killers, etc, but that's just like anything else. Nothing is perfect in the system. Evaluation should be better.

Actually, they say that it is cheaper to support them for life than the process of execution. It may be hard to understand how this could possibly be, but that is what they say. Personally, i think that life in prison is a more harsh punishment than death anyway. Life in prison for people like this is a living Hell. They either have to spend their time in complete isolation or they face getting abused violently every day that they spend with other inmates. And while they are in isolation, they are at the complete mercy of the prison guards. How would they know that someone isn't pissing in their crappy food every single day?

Now days in most places in the world the legal system seems to be more on the side of the criminal than the victim. What makes any killer/rapist any 'more evil' than another? They keep repeating that he was one of the most evil of all killers, and I just have to kinda wonder what exactly that means. Evil is a by product of an incredibly sick and damaged, maladaptive psyche - and while what this guy did is truly heinous and disgusting, I think putting him on some pedestal of 'more evil than other killers' is sensational and arbitrary.

Evil is a bullshit term to use because evil is something we cannot understand and its something that just happens. They are not evil, they are psychotic, they are sociopaths or perhaps there just is something wrong in their brain but they are in most cases created. Basically every serial killer has suffered some form of trauma, falling down stairs, getting hit in the head , severe fevers or emotional damage. The cowdered that did it was Xavier Whitehead he's in protective custody to this day serving 4 life sentences. He's lucky because no joking during the whole trial proceedings he wasn't in the courtroom because Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office knew My friends would kill him. Back in the 1960s when i was a child there was a young man in my little home town named John Campbell. He robbed and tried to murder my grandfather, but my grandfather survived getting beat with a piece of pipe to the head. John Campbell got away with that crime completely. But later on he raped a young teen girl and strangled her. His defense was that he didn't mean to kill her, he just chocked her too hard by 'accident' because she was struggling. He only served about 5 years for that crime, but he moved out of the area because there were definitely people out to get him.

There are so many things that immensely disturb me about this story: 1. How in the actual F does someone get caught red handed having raped and nearly killed a 8yr old and get out less than 3 yrs into a LIFE sentence?!?! 2. How in the actual F does someone violate their parole by selling drugs to a minor, likely w the intention of raping and killing her, go back to jail and again get out in another ridiculously short time frame?! 3. How is he a wanted criminal yet appears on a dating tv show using his known criminal real name and no one clues in?! 4. How does a park ranger see a little girl being dragged in the woods by a man, ignores it and just goes about his day like that’s no biggie?! The members of the parole boards who let his psycho out less than 3 yrs into his life sentence should all be rotting in jail along side him😑
