High risk funerals are funerals where there's many elderly people driving in the procession, lots of funeral attendees, children and they do not have funeral stickers to distinguish them. Yes, this kind of funeral is VERY high risk. Elderly drivers are high risk drivers for obvious reasons. Couple that with a lot of elderly drivers and the risk goes up, not only because they are elderly but because the more drivers there are, the more risk of a motor vehicle accident. On top of that if there's no funeral stickers and you have 200 cars proceeding against road signage on the street, then that puts them at risk of an accident as well. The longer a funeral procession is, the more impatient other motorists become. People will try to negotiate when they should proceed against the funeral procession by judging the cars that have no stickers. The more funeral cars there are, the easier it is to calculate "when" the proceeding is finished and now "we can drive across". There's others reasons why but I'm not gonna write all day. This is why reading is fundamental. It's also the reason why an escort service is required for a funeral.
