Got some Carol Kane in "Scrooged" vibes, and I mean that as a compliment

TM is *back!* ~ lovely balance of playful, puzzling, goofy, naughty, lo-fi, sweet and surreal. And the evidence of the 'faceless facilitators' is strong; camera placement, music, editing, pace. Already belly-sore from laughin it up.

Only 18 minutes in, I gotta say I am already in love with the vibes of this new season. Absolutely ludicrous prize task category? Check. Seeing the first task play out before we know what it is? Very fun. The slowest contestant getting 5 points by a pure fluke of luck? Perfection. Taskmaster is back, baby!!!

AMERICA here: i stumbled upon TM years ago and have seen every season of it. I also love Australia and NZ seasons as well BUT there is NOTHING like the OG and the Greg/Alex chemistry. I just love them.

What a cast! And with the king of comedy firmly on the throne this should be a very enjoyable series.
