I'm sorry but cutting the Radical due to straight line acceleration BEFORE the lap test was a HUGE HUGE HUGE mistake guys - it is NOT designed for acceleration, where it shines is handling and BRAKING. I'd bet big money it would have done the fastest lap time but a decent margin as while all of these are "track toys" it is more than that, it's a product RACECAR, not just a "track toy". Really disappointing that you'd test it in such a silly way and cut it before it ever got to do what it was designed for.

The I pace exists because of fossil fuels. The electricity requires fossil fuel, the battery requires fossil fuel. They are called coal cars for a reason

I don't get the logic of removing a car per round for those tests. It would be more interesting to see how they all perform in all tests.

Why don't you do a towing test with the I Pace, may show a slight problem with it. Try towing a caravan from London to Shell Island in Wales and see how you get on. I would like to see how many days it would take, that is if you would even make it. Batteries ARE the issue!

To have a true result from a test all cars must complete each test and be awarded points to find the overall winner. I have always had a problem with the test system Fifth Gear uses. It is biased and does not represent a true overall picture. Other than that it is a great show...

Why would it? I have done a lot of track driving on mine and with the stock intercooler it withstands a lot of punishment!

Electric cars are fossil fuel powered because most of the power grid uses fossil fuel. Calling them fossil fuel free is ridiculous. They don't burn their fossil fuel in the city so have advantages for air quality and efficiency.

To anyone who thinks electric cars are all about politics, etc. - DRIVE ONE. Yes, I do miss the roar of a big German V8 but there is no experience like the relentless acceleration of an electric motor. It is just better in virtually every way as 90% of our driving is well within the long range of modern EVs. Just drive one before you decide on them and while you might not buy one your opinion will absolutely change.

Meh, you can keep your EV’s. I find them characterless and lacking driver involvement. Nothing will replace the drama, engagement and visceral sound of an ICE car.

Not being funny guys but we can't go over 30MPH and sometimes 20MPH. No point in a speedy vehicle in today's world.
