Its a great skill to be able to work an old engine like that !!! ... Especially the V12 ... which i now prefer in the XJ saloon than the XJS as i'm old !!! ...

I'm having trouble getting my 69 xke auto transmission out of the bottom of the car is a v8 not the v12

Apparently these guys don't know what a gearbox is because they don't ever show that.
