Actually load is R and commutating components are l and c and as commutating components are permenently connected in series with load that's why it is called series inverter but sir you are telling that rlc are in series with scr how they are series please explain very clearly

The commutating components L & C , load resistance R is connected in series with the SCR T¹ .so, the circuit is in underdamped, because L & C is the commutating component. And the supply is DC.
