5:33 with respect to your vaste knowledge,I would like to add the following statment. I still have to say that this is practically possible and the total: Rt -> total resistance R1 -> resistor of the V1 R2 -> resistor of V2 The total voltage exerted by the two batteries is V=R(V1/R1 + V2/R2) If V1= V2 then V1=V2=V. in this case, the circuit will get is more current. Practically, what will happen if both V1 and V2 are not equal, both V1 and V2 will forcefully fight for balance. The one with higher voltage, its voltage will decrease and the one with lower voltage will have his voltage increased. While they forcefully fight for voltage they inflict damage to the circuit, it could be minimal or severe. In case of the car example, there is a damage in the circuit if you did that to your car you will notice zapping and burning traces on your wire/battery. Conclusion, notice that I used *case* alot as normally it is *not allowed* . Circuit board has sensitive component and that minimal damage could destroy it.

So can i run a 45 amp power supply in parallel with 100 amp power supply to = 145 amps and each one is at 13 volts

2 current sources in series actually CAN HAPPEN ! stop saying ""not allowed" it can actually happen and we can connect an ammeter to know what the current is
@cpawel4 жыл бұрын
If you paid attention to the video, he explains why it's not allowed - the result simply does not follow KCL, and is therefore not allowed. EDIT: The only reason you can do it in real life, is because in reality we aren't dealing with perfect power supplies. Therefore, you can connect two current sources in series and get some kind of output, at the cost of messing up your equipment - the extra energy is going to be given off as heat until something breaks or overloads.

*Is not allowed* = will damage your circuit.

Did you know if you tell a kid it is not allowed to do that he will do that...

at 5:07 battery configuration same like a car jump start. so How it is possible sir? for car jump, we connect parallel rihgt?
@LPFan46 жыл бұрын
You said that connecting voltage sources in parallel is not allowed but connecting current sources in parallel is. This does notmake sense to me! I thought all current sources have a potential difference.

You said 2 voltage sources in parallel isn't okay what the hell does that suppose to mean ?! i mean what happens if we actually did it ?
@poraskolgane93845 жыл бұрын
It fries up the voltage source, and you wont be able to take measurement by voltmeter

How can you connect + with + and - with - ?Shouldn't those sources connect just - + -+.. ?
