Global Rhythms presents musicians who carry the musical traditions of their homelands. This season, Curator Jon Kertzer presents “Island Music,” a collection of musicians from different islands around the world. From Okinawa to Ireland, from Jamaica to Cape Verde, they introduce us to the unique, distinctive musical styles of their island cultures.
