@@TheBanishedWind Do you have confirmation on that? Because I always just assumed Zephyr was his own thing. Literally the only similarity between the two is that Zephyr can stop time which Dio could only do later on, and stopping time as the concept for a power is certainly nothing new.

@@haystackbill6187 "Some of Zephyr's attack, like throwing knives and time freezing, are based on Dio Brando. One of his Japanese voice clips even echoes Dio's famous line "Toki yo Tomare!" ("Time, stop!"). His fight on top of the clock tower may also be a reference to JOJO part 3.
