Because of their help from god, and how the church just used his name for power (Kinda like in the NETFLIX show) But years later, having no choice to fight Dracula's forces, they decided to at least ask help from a Belmont..

He has been defeated time and time again by a family of Vampire Hunters called the Belmonts. We would have a Halloween Party that includes this whole video game series because of you know who.
