not much to get up to speed for a goalkeeper though, i reckon around 2 training sessions focused on how he should support the build up play and hes already good to go as our starting keeper. i just dont trust austin to perform against liverpool, remember fraser forster looked amazing in his first few games but his true quality(or non-quality) showed in the end.

Djed Spence omission under several Spurs managers now appears to have been a big error. Now Brandon Austin omission since Vicario’s injury also looks like another big mistake. Both Djed and Brandon are only playing because Ange’s hands have been forced due to injuries and sickness. These are management errors - period.

@@alexbenstead5922 Vicario suffered a fractured ankle during our away victory against Manchester City in November. Brandon Austin has been the sub-goalkeeper ever since. No matter how badly Forster performed he did not get a look in. This included our victory against Man United and Forster’s shambolic errors that nearly cost us the game. The pass intercepted by Fernandes resulted in a goal and then he was closed down by Amad who ran from miles out and the ball ended up in our net. He went to sleep and cost us a second goal! Brandon’s one roll of the dice was because Forster was sick! That is not acceptable based on Forster’s performances. As I say, Djed only got a run-out because no one else was available. He was an unused sub when both Romero and Van de Ven were brought back too early. I want Ange to succeed but he needs to pick his best team, rest players and use his bench effectively for this high-line football thus avoiding defence injuries at this level of football. His staff needs to get a backbone and speak-up if they are not. Ange needs help in my opinion.

I think there's almost no chance Austin or Kinsky play against Liverpool. If Forster is back from his illness he will doubtless play. Kinsky could get a look in against Tamworth. Throwing Kinsky in to a semi against an outstanding Liverpool team 3 days after joining the club is a massive, massive gamble. Also harsh on Austin, but I just can't see Ange going for anyone other than Forster for his experience, and a more settled relationship with his teammates.

Tottenham are doing what Chelsea and Manchester United have been doing for a couple of years now. Develop youth talent through the academy and sell them for pure profit. Then, use those proceeds to purchase high end talent. Austin and the other keepers will be moved on for pure profit to cover recruitment needs.

Itakura is NOT a good fit for Spurs. His size and strength is unproven in the premier league, and though I haven't seen him play club football much, I know he's made some fatal errors for Japan on the national stage. His awareness and zone defense is poor, and he is really bad at switching on to attackers and working with the defense as a unit. His first step on directional change is INCREDIBLY SLOW for a centerback, so I'm surprised that he has even been considered as a viable option. It would be like putting a band-aid on a massive leak. We need solid backup options that are consistent, and reliable in high pressure situations. I don't understand how a defender that can barely hold his own on the Japanese National Team against other Asian teams is being considered...

This is the club's issue (especially Levy), any player worth heavy money in order to pursue him for that's convenient to our title winning hopes is currently not in Levy's cards when its supposed to be for he's driving all Tottenham fans into being raged including me as they got plenty of money to use to spend on appropriate players required to improve our style of football. Werner, Forster, Dragusin, Spence, Reguilon and Davies should exit the club as they barely tick the boxes to assist us to seal titles. We must sign after Kinsky in this winter transfer window Kolo Muani, Millot and Khusanov as we have many of our key players off injured including Udogie, Van de ven, Romero, Odobert etc. Patrick Dorgu or Maxim De Cuyper should perfectly fit our squad plus would be a brilliant Udogie backup and Spence upgrade, de cuyper is more ideal as Dorgu is comparitively more costly.
