Glad to see you are continuing your Rammstein Journey :) This song is a bit harder to fully appreciate without knowing the lyrics because it's based on an actual real-life event. I'll paraphrase the story here: "The song is about two German cannibals who met online (on a website forum called the “Cannibal Cafe”), Armin Meiwes and Bernd Jürgen Brandes, the two men in their 40s met each other, cut off and cooked Brandes' penis and together ate it. Afterward, Meiwes killed Brandes - with the victim's permission - and stored his remains and ate him almost entirely over the months before his arrest. Ironically, after years in prison, Meiwes became a vegetarian. Also notable about the incident is that Meiwes recorded the slaughter and preparation of Meiwes after their candle-lit meal, and it has been found by police, however has not been leaked onto the internet. (although few alleged screenshots have) (Btw Meiwes also tried to sue Rammstein when they made this song about his story but as far as I know, it was either settled or nothing big came off it. I might be wrong on this though.) “It is so sick that it becomes fascinating and there just has to be a song about it”. - Till Lindemann." Here are the Lyrics along with my best attempt at translating them in a way that keeps the storytelling and poetry intact, I skipped parts that are repeated for the sake of this already being a damn long comment :D [Intro] „Suche gut gebauten achtzehn- bis dreißigjährigen zum Schlachten“ Der Metzgermeister = "Looking for a well-build 18 to 30 year old to be slaughtered. The Master Butcher" (This part is a reference to Meiwes having posted an ad of sort in the cannibal forum to attract his victim. It's not the exact wording though.) Their live shows are like nothing you've ever seen before. If you get the chance then please go! I worked as a paramedic when they last performed in the UK and they had a pram that they set alight with a baby in it and the ashes came out of the babies mouth...at the same time they had canons shooting ashes onto the audience. I was paid to be there, I felt privileged

Song is based on a true story of a German cannibal called Armin Meiwes who ate a voluntary victim whom he found on the internet after advertising and then killed him about 20 years ago. Initially the willing victim's penis was severed which they then ate together. Armin then killed the victim who was fading through blood loss and continued to eat parts of his victim for a few days after death. Brilliant song though!!!

The song deals with a real case from Germany. 2 men meet over the internet for lunch. One of the two men is on the menu. With the consent of the victim, his penis is amputated and eaten. The victim wanted to taste it himself, but did not survive the procedure. The perpetrator then chops him up into small pieces and stores it for a snack in between. He then became a vegetarian in prison. He was called the cannibal of Rothenburg. Armin Meiwes. You really should read the lyrics through. Dark humor in it.

Just saying this right now.... Rammstein IS Theatre!.... They always puts on a show... and you DO get drenched after the concert due to all the pyro. On a personal note, I'm always confused why reactors always react to Du Hast, because it's not really that good a song. If you asked me to make a list of my 20 favorite Rammstein songs, it wouldn't even make the list, but I digress.... As for more theatre.... Have a go at "Benzin - live at Maddison Square Garden" and "Pussy live"
