Oh, thank goodness!!!!!!!!! I'm 50, and my father lives with me. His bedroom is above my loungeroom, where he likes to talk on the phone. It sounds like LOUD talk back radio and makes me so tense! This is just great for drowing him out. It's 8pm at night, so it should be peaceful. He thinks I'm picking on him when I ask him not to, so I just have to live with it ... with this- yay!

Oh. That's not sarcasm. That's a happy place. I love standing before a turbulent sea in a big sweater, hugging myself and breathing in the fresh, clean air that's gushing from the vastness of the ocean. So romantically rustic, with your feet buried in wet sand, before infinity. This sound makes me almost feel it. I'd forgotten how much I missed it.

Well, they're basically way of saying how 'harsh' the noise is. White Noise has a lot of high frequencies in it so can sound a little sandpapery - whereas the darker the noise, the fewer high freqs there are. So Green Noise has fewer than White but still sounds 'fresh' like perhaps a wind is blowing - whereas Brown Noise has fewer still so is very relaxing with mainly low frequencies going.
