I love washers as long as the detent is strong. Also thumbstuds only is my favorite. Also it’s affordable! It’s a dream knife for me! I’ll definitely be checking WMN’s

I've bought two Kubeys in the past 6 months, the Campe and the Carve, and I have to say I'm disappointed. Both come with washers, which is fine, but they come underlubricated, which negatively affects the action. This means you have to perform maintenance on them as soon as you get them, which is not ideal since knives should be ready to go out of the box. Also, the detent isn't good on them, which makes them easy to fail. The weak detent on the Carve makes the knife bounce back sometimes when you close it (rather than lock in), which can be potentially dangerous. I thought Kubey was a reputable brand, but after owning two, I realize there are much better brands at the same price point. Won't be buying anymore Kubeys in the future.

@@louzher6968 I actually enjoyed doing a break down right when I get all my knives but it’s mainly to show my people what is on the inside as many people tend to have questions that cannot be answered with just a surface level view. This is definitely not ideal for the average consumer because you are 110% correct, a knife should be ready to go right away.
