I have been looking at this Sencut model. I really like Sencut knives. I think the washers are a great idea. I think it all depends on how you are going to use the knife. Washers vs bearings. I'm into budget knives because I can't afford the expensive ones. Nice review and subscribed.

It looks like it’s a fun flicker and super smooth . One knife that has grown on me amongst many others is a Kansept pretatout . It has the smoothest hydraulic action on my example . It’s a fun flicker for sure . Someone can chime in who has or had one .

I've sold and rebought the Glidestrike twice now. This time I'm keeping it for good. I actually bought your old one, I think. Teal scales and stonewashed blade? I absolutely love it, but have changed it up since I got it lol.

Such a good knife I dropped mine from about waist high and broke the tip off I was able to reprofile it and give it a new tip but it just ate the same so I bought another one I wish we/civivi would make a premium version that would be cool great video man 👍

Liked & subscribed. I don’t collect knives . I have accumulated quite a few over the years. Gifts & inherited a bunch when 2 of my uncles died recently. 1 uncle had expensive or adventurous hobbies (pilot,scuba diving ect)not a lot of knives but higher end ones & most aren’t knives I need or have any use for. I should sell some(eBay or?)The other uncle had quantity,not many that are good quality . I had no idea he was so into knives.& then there is the few I have bought through the years. Not many but good knives that I bought for one purpose or another and they get used. You mentioned replacing the clip on this one. Civivi started with the heavy marketing a couple years ago and eventually the Paraxis caught my eye,was bigger than the knives I generally carry but I really liked about everything about them. Like M-L knives most right now. I bought & lost 4 of them within a year. The last one was twice the price but was on sale,had a Damascus blade that was pretty impressive ,to me. Not just the aesthetics of it.Was different,in good ways ,than the basic models.I don’t know much about all the kinds of blade steels or other materials & designs ect ,but im learning. The clip on the civivis were so bad that I only felt 1 of them when it got snagged on something.clip was at almost a 45 degree angle and the knife was barely still in my pocket.The other 3,never felt a thing and didn’t feel anything the 2nd time the Damascus one snagged. All were just gone. Have a bad taste in my mouth now for all the civivi/We line. & they’re everywhere!I’ve had plenty of clips bend over the years but they were never nearly that bad and I could bend them back into shape well enough to use them for a while,until I had time to scavenge a replacement clip off of another knife that I wasn’t using at the moment .haven’t decided on next knife yet but It’s going to be my 1st crossbar lock for sure .Searching for those online,lead me directly to BM 535 &940. Going to get out of my comfort zone with drop points with 940. (but most likely will return.They are a handy shape.)…of course. Looking pretty hard at a particular seller that does good work…a knock off 940 with Ti handles & bearings instead of the washers. Will probably follow your lead with the packages of washers when I get it & figure out the size It’ll need. Don’t think the 940 clips are going to work out but will give it a try. The short deep carry bugout style clips seem like they would be better. Less clip to get snagged on anything & pretty stout. Unless you have a better recommendation. & Titanium rather than steel clips. Better?? Thx. Take care.

@@wbwills2 inheriting knives is pretty cool because they always tell a story and of course have irreplaceable sentimental value❤️. Civivi is finally making some models with steel milled clips as to keep the cost low but continuing the high value/functionality train rolling. I think it would be wise to do more like that as they won’t bent out so easily, because I’ve bent a couple in my time😂. I’d definitely recommend miguron knives for another high value brand, they do a lot of milled steel and TI clips🔥

Maybe it didn't get a lot of love because it's a $40 knife with no captive pivot. Even my $10 Walmart knife has a captive pivot. "Greasy Little Bean Fingers" would be a cool name for the channel.🙂👍
@justthetipedc7835Ай бұрын
@@louzher6968 even Reate knife products don’t have captive pivots it’s just a manufacturing preference that pisses me off also, regardless of price. Price is definitely not a realistic factor of this designs lack of popularity 😂 try again
@louzher6968Ай бұрын
@justthetipedc7835 I'm aware of the design preference. Remette is another example of this, and there are others as well. I know from direct feedback from others in live chats and comments that not having a captive pivot, especially the higher the price, is a factor in whether or not they're willing to purchase a particular knife, as it is for me. I just purchased a Flissa on sale for $14, and it is a very decent knife at that price, despite not having a captive pivot. If it had been selling a it's normal price of $25, I wouldn't have bought it. I was just trying to think of something more specific than the obvious factors, such as it's ugly, bulky, generic, plain, boring, and overpriced, some of which you already alluded to. At $40, I'd rather spend an extra $10-15 and get something comparable in size but much better, like a Civivi Tacticorix with gray shredded G10 scales. Even though you didn't address it, I'm keeping my fingers crossed that the new channel name will be GLBF.🙂🤞🏻
