The Vanpowers site linked here seems to sell only e-bikes and accessories. The product link provided in the description goes to a page that doesn't exist, and Amazon does not have this product.

3 things I'd like to see though would be 1: Normal USB ports because there are quite a few rechargeable things that use Micro to recharge (flashlights, phones, lanterns, etc), 2: Battery expandability of some kind (The Pecron really sets the standard here), and 3: better solar charging because 60v really isn't much when you deal with a standard 100w panel that's VoC is 22v limiting you to 2s3p connections and if you're using "24v" panels you can't put any in series without blowing the SCC inside.

As a follow-up to my previous post (see below from about 4 months ago). Vanpowers did ultimately refund my money so I guess good on em' for that. I'm writing today because I just received an email from them stating my 4G function would be disabled if I didn't pay $29 for another year of access. Nice of them to outline that upfront (not). Not only did they think I still had the unit this is pretty much bait and switch. Glad I returned it.

There is not one negative review on this device anywhere on the interwebs and the relationship between Zendure and Vanpowers remains a mystery. Most videos state the Vanpowers unit was "sent" to them so whether they get affiliate commission or not, you still have to wonder if this "gift" has influenced their review. So here it goes ... a real review by someone that bought and paid for this directly from Vanpowers. My unit is either defective or nobody has fully tested the "UPS" feature. Ordered 11/12/22. Received in about a week. Setup went fine and approximately 600 Watts of Servers, Mini PC's and other gear was plugged in. Things seemed fine until one day at work I looked at the app and saw the battery draining and the input power at 0. Figuring this was by design, and once the battery charge dropped to a certain level the unit would resume charging, I waited. When it dropped to 5% battery power I was on the phone with my wife scrambling to figure out how to shut-down devices before it died. And die it did. Never resumed charging even though it was plugged in to a fully operational 120 outlet. Contacted support on 11/30/22 with a detailed description of the problem and received a reply in broken chinglish asking questions that were already answered. Played the back and forth game and was eventually informed the device needed a firmware update and they were "working on it". Once uploaded to their servers I was to flash the firmware and all would be good. 2023 rolls around and still no firmware. During the preceding weeks the unit on several occasions mysteriously powered down with more than 50% charge remaining. I was actually in the room one time when this happened and YES, the AC just turned off taking all my devices with it. No buttons were hit and no configuration changes were made by me. At this point I took it out of service (should have done it sooner) and sent another nasty-gram to support (and I use that term loosely). More of the same questions, more back and forth and finally I was informed to return the unit for repair. They told me they would update the firmware and fully test the machine before sending it back. They also provided a shipping label and it got back to them in two days. I sent them a copy of the tracking delivery receipt and they replied they would expedite. A few days went by and I inquired about status. No reply. Low and behold the returned unit was on my doorstep the next day. So kudos to them for the quick turn around. I set everything back up and the next morning I awoke to the AC light off, No Input voltage, and 5 or 6 dead devices. I took it out of service and contacted "support" requesting a refund. Guess what? I received a reply saying this is a new issue and requires a firmware update. Oh and here's 50 euros if you can wait. First off I didn't pay in "EUROS" and NOPE not playing the game anymore. So I disputed the charge with my Credit card company and demanded a return label. Still waiting to hear back. Bottom line... There is no way I would trust this device as a UPS and Vanpowers support apparently can't understand English. I was more than patient as I really loved the idea of a UPS that could run my equipment for an extended period. Unfortunately there is NO WAY I can trust this device or the company behind it. Oh, another thing. Right after my device was originally delivered I received an email saying thank you and they would pay me $50 for a review. At least the email said I would get USD. Something stinks and I'm not going to smell it anymore. PS ... I am a long time Byte my Bits viewer but first time commentor. I have copied the above and am seriously considering posting it under other reviews. Just wanted Jason to know he was FIRST.

These Chinese Companies continuously do this. They sell to our Country and make tons of money, but yet fail to put some of that profit into hiring employees that can speak English. Some Companies, like Bluetti, don't even answer their phone. Just e-mail. American consumers BEWARE! Once you buy, you are on your own.

I differ on this review, I own this Zendure Super PRO 2000 for over 10 months, Some of the features doesn't work as promised, UPS, Charge Control, Metrics etc., I use this for load shifting my Refrigerator during Peak hrs, It randomly fails to switchover, Need to monitor daily (I control using Wifi On/Off Switch with a weekly schedule). I set the charge control for 90% but it always does 100%, There are other smaller issues which are very minor for me. Just 3 days ago, The unit failed and now it shows 0% and I am unable to reset. reached out to zendure still waiting to hear from them. From past experience they take anywhere from 2 to 3 days to respond, hoping they will respond by monday. This clearly shows they dont have enough experience in this area and needs work more .

Some I see don't have near the recharge cycles, but has better power ratings. others have a ton of recharge, but the power isn't as clean. It has lithium batteries. You aren't going to be replacing batteries every year or so like in regular UPS's with lead acid. If the batteries are of any quality, they should have thousands of charges with minimal degradation. According to their site, it has 3000 cycles with 60% capacity or about 9 years of fully cycling it. As a UPS, it will get cycled at the most a few times a year.
@TheNinjaMarmot
@TheNinjaMarmot 2 жыл бұрын
@@handlealreadytaken Judging by phones which have a much lower recharge wattage, but much lower capacity I would assume it degrades after a year of usage and significantly after a few years if you're constantly using it. I think it will be on par with Tesla batteries, which last 1500 cycles, approx. I think it's mischievous them saying at 60% capacity, when you will more than likely be charging this up to 100% most of the time.
@WutrUduin

This is a warning for potential buyers. I want to share my experiences buying from this company (if you can call it that). This is one of the shadiest company around. Don't expect any after-sales support at all. Therefore no warranty! This is like a one man (couple at best) show based in L.A area importing these from china. These Chinese individuals do not pick up phones, do not respond to voicemails, do not respond to emails. Evidently they also have comprehension issues or that could also be an act, along with the robotic responses. Like the other KZbin reviewers have discussed, they still haven't fixed the app interface and its still buggy. The unit itself has many quirks. As it stands this guy/company has completely dropped all communications with me and i am at a loss on how to proceed from here.

Despite the awkward hype; this device has some clear flaws; enough to avoid it. First the elephant in the room; the dangerous battery chemistry; Li-NMC which most companies have moved away; the exploding battery chemistry; in other words, NOT SAFE. And then there is no expandability. Come on, you always find the need for more power. Also there is no type A usb port; I have four devices that use type A so it is useful to have one least one port of this type. Pecron is cheaper; safer and the 1500 is the current king with a few other brands that are closing in. Is this a decent power station; yes; would I buy it no; but a few changes would make it viable.

It's a steep price, but if you need the capabilities of the battery, it's not too bad. It can handle a lot. I can imagine it could be useful if you are an outdoorsy type and/or living in a place that experience storms and rough weather in general, which causes power outages. This battery can keep the essential stuff running for hours.
