IDK how staff does it. Some work 10 hour days , 7 days a week, for not a lot of money, and still manage to smile at passengers and other crew members. Some countries and its citizens don't appreciate the lives they are given.

This is a really nice cabin, especially being a private cabin. Much better than any berthing space I had to stay in when deployed aboard US Navy ships (as a Marine). We had racks stacked four high and had a small locker about 18 inches square and maybe 24 inches deep. Staying in this during your time off work is a great place.

This is the best single share cabin yet! The design is so good, incredibly functional. , The bed looks bigger and the storage is amazing for such a small space. Very livable, considering that all the other crew areas are so spacious,

This is SO much better than the Oasis single share I lived in. The Oasis ones are a safety hazard, having to put a chair in front of the door to get into bed.

I believe the spot he has his wash bag you can put a lock on it. They clean their own rooms and have inspections

Yeah dude no share is the bomb!! I did a couple of contracts in a share cabin and the stories ....😂😂 for those who complain about size etc... FREE FOOD FREE HOUSING FREE WORLD TRAVEL & PAID !!! Plus world access network etc.... enjoy

its a nice single share. looks better than hm single shares, but i prefer the OA style single shares with the folding bed and extra long desk. but i think that might be a rare opinion.

I love in a tractor trailer almost 80% of the year. This space is bigger than my current situation (my job) so I could definitely make this space work.

The only down side for me was that tiny chair for that very low desk. I understand the economy of space but I'd prefer a fold down desk from the wall at a higher level. But I get what they were after. Otherwise, a pretty good set-up. At least you don't have to share. Having sail 32 years in the American Merchant Marines, I know what it's like to spend a few months in a small room; just not that small. Good stuff, Chris. Missed a few videos, will have to catch up. It looks very much like the cheap internal PASSENGER cabin I had when cruising on the "Enrico C" (of what was then Linea C, now known as Costa Cruises) with my fashionista mom and her SIX large suitcases and bags in the 1970s, when I was a teenager (yes, I'm an old man and I know it, you don't need to tell me that). The only additional perk was a private bathroom (of course, even tinier). I'm glad that the cruise industry has progressed so much over the years that a crew member finds that cabin barely acceptable.

My son who is a military type guy calls a hair cut like yours "High and Tight". About your cabin... I assume housekeeping comes in to work on it. How often and how much "housekeeping" do they do vs how much you might be expected to do. Just curious...

Seems nice enough and perfectly adequate for a single occupant. Certainly larger than a quarter of the 4 berth passenger cabin we had on a cruise back in the 90s. Probably not really intended for spending a lot of time in. Most crew members aren’t KZbin stars like Chris Wong.

Hey Chris. Everyone talks about how beautiful and how large Icon is. It does seem everyone forgets or glosses over how small the rooms are. Everyone's room seems a bit smaller. Even the suits look like they were shoe horned in to a tiny space. Guess the designers really wanted to up the body count. Love your content. Keep up the great work.
