I've watched hundreds of these review videos and this is hands down the best one I've ever seen. You went in with no expectations, good or bad. You maintained neutrality across the board. When things were good, you mentioned them. When they were bad, you mentioned them too. And your parents were a great addition insofar as they offer a unique, innocent, and unspoiled view from a 'regular person's perspective. Great work, Trek Trendy!

Facts. I'd demand a 50% discount. Actually, in the US, there's a legal doctrine that allows you to claim triple damages in court if you can prove that you were sold something that the seller knew was defective. It is called 'unfair and deceptive trade practices'. If you were sold the cabin at full price, and the cruise line knew that it wasn't as advertised prior to boarding, then you are entitled to compensation worth 3 times what you paid for it. You might even be able to convince the court to add in your travel expense to get to the cruise terminal, and legal expenses.

I had a memorable cruise on this ship about six months into its inaugural season. At the time, this was marketed as the most expensive ($350 million) cruise ship ever built (on a per-passenger basis if I recall correctly) and it was spectacular in every detail. I think that was 1992. It had a sleek modern Italian aesthetic and was maintained impeccably. And, at that time, Costa provided a high-quality service experience. The customers were primarily Italian and many smoked like coal-refining stacks. I stayed in the suite on the starboard side that was closest to the bridge and our friends had the same suite on the port side. Those half-round balconies hanging over the water are still unique in the industry even if the ship isn't anymore. Thank you for the "trip."

I actually really love that this video is presented on what is basically a luxury KZbin travel channel, and it's presented in such an unpretentious, relatable way. I myself could never afford the vast majority of the trips featured on this channel, but I could afford this particular trip if I saved a little money, and I could even afford this "first class cabin" on "America's worst cruise." However, even though Will might be used to far more luxurious travel compared to this cruise, I appreciate that the main complaints from this video are basically the same complaints I would have as a middle class American if I booked the same cabin. I might not be wealthy, but that doesn't mean I deserve a moldy balcony and a jacuzzi bathtub I paid for that doesn't work, which seems to be Will's experience from this cruise. He does a great job with his channel of appealing to the average person who might book a cruise just like this to have fun and to not spend too much money in the process, but I imagine it's hard to pull this off as a content creator. You want to bring in viewers to your videos who might aspire to one day afford the travel that you can afford, but you also don't want to alienate the average person and make it seem like you yourself are a pretentious asshole. It's a very hard line to toe, and when channels like this can do it successfully, what we see is exponential growth in the number of subscribers to the channel.

I went on a Carnival Cruise about 25 years ago when I was a teenager... it was about the same, if not worse. Celebrity and Princess were good, the food was ehh. Definitely Carnival Cruise vibes.

Thanks for taking the cruise to remind us of cruises that well you have to ask yourself do I really want to take this cruise 🤔. Great to you see back again for another great video!

I'm guessing it is usually a "booze cruise." People go to get facedown drunk for a few days.

You can also do that for a lot cheaper at the Margaritaville bar in Key West, if you want the Jimmy Buffett ambiance.

I saw this ship in Cozumel last weekend. Glad I spent the money with RC Harmony. Thanks for the video.

Never heard of that boat or the company. Now I know why. 😆

It's a veritable legend---and not in a good way. I'm surprised that they're not doing a Weekend at Bernie's deal with Buffett and charging $100 for a photo.

It’s only been around less than 2 years. They have a second used cruise ship they recently started sailing, which from what I hear isn’t any better than this one

Wow...the upkeep on that ship is horrendous. And the dirty dishes all over is just not acceptable. Having said that, the food sounds good and it gave you a few days to spend with Mum and Dad. I really admire the way you make them comfy in the room, giving them the bed while you sleep on the couch/bed. This is not the first time and I commend you on the respect you show your parents. BTW...another great vid, regardless of the ship itself.

The food may have tasted great, but the overall lack of maintenance and good sanitation on the ship makes me wonder what the kitchen looks like.

I recently took a cruise on the Margaritaville Islander out of the port of Tampa. I have to say it overall was a nice cruise for the price (BOGO) except many of the meats were either too spicy or overcooked. The balcony room was great and everything worked! The employees were very friendly and professional. I believe the Islander was a nicer ship than the Paradise but I still prefer the larger ships.

Its honestly crazy how much you had to pay for that cruise experience. I appreciate you sharing it with us to show that this cruise line is definitely not worth the money! Keep up the grind!🤙

Yikes! This looks like a roadside motel you'd find in a sketchy part of town in the U.S.

I would highly recommend the Islander out of Tampa. This ship is beautiful, We sailed it in July and the vibe was great. The ship was clean and everything worked. For a 24-year-old ship, it looked fresh and inviting. Everyone I talked with who had sailed the Paradise said it was night and day better overall.
