Hey boys, don’t worry about the self levelling compound. It’s great stuff, and I have used it on almost every renovation I have ever done as a homeowner. It is so unusual for everything to be level. The fact that you fixed it rather than ignored it speaks to your level of commitment to doing the right thing. I’d say “well done”, rather than worrying about another small problem. This one was easy. Time for the floor now! Great channel by the way. Really enjoying it from here in the Gulf Islands of BC.

Happy birthday, Tyler!! You're right; we don't focus or ruminate on childhood bullying, but it's always there. It shapes us. Ultimately, it makes us more resilient and empathetic. I forgot to tell the two of you that I discovered BetterHelp from your videos. I've been in therapy before, but you can't beat the ease of Betterhelp. Forever grateful. Quick edit....we are also under construction, we had to level a floor (good times), had two leaks repaired (we did not create the leaks, thank God!), had to put a 20-foot header in because the previous owner apparently never had any inspections done (no idea how that is a thing in my township!), found many electrical boo-boos (again, no inspections), and it pains me to say this, our roof leaked into our renovated primary bathroom last week. Our renovations will get done, and look beautiful. All of your hard work and determination will pay off in the end. I can't wait to see the end results of your construction!

I spent most of my life not liking my birthdays as well. In my case, it came from not being wanted, and it took years before I was able to remove that trauma from my life. I was so blessed to meet my true love at 47, and he celebrates me everyday, and I am 100 % convinced that this healed this for me as I now embrace my birthdays and am glad I was born to live this life with my husband. I hope you can release this from your life as well. Each one of us should be celebrated.

From watching your channel and doing a lot of additional research on container homes, I have decided that container homes are way way way way way way way way overrated. Way! Better to build a house with traditional construction methods and if you seriously like the container home look, you can make your house look just like a container home. No problem. Tyler, I can so relate to your comment about keeping hope alive after so many set-backs. I'm glad that you have each other to lean on. You both seem to be the support of the other when a trial comes along, instead of both melting down at the same time. Todd is right. You both will get through this. And, fwiw, it's not the container home, it's the incompetent people passing themselves off as professionals that have caused the nightmare for you. Building a traditional house can be a nightmare, too, if the wrong people get involved. Tyler, I'm so sorry that you had the trauma of dealing with bullies as a child.
