Just came back here to say, that Hephaestus temple t4 would have been the best temple to build elite infantry units with, if not for the epic agent's better buff? So which altar is the next better one, ares's?

Athena´s probably. It gives +8 melee defense. You can also get the Hephaestic gear from just visiting the province and purchasing it there for each unit. Although after a massive battle with my newly recruited, god-tier Champions of Troy, and after moving them to a different army, the buffs seem to have disappeared -_- I think it´s because of me moving them to a different hero, but who knows how that works. Could also be a bug or something. Another army has had the gear for quite a while and some battles, so I don´t think it is supposed to be temporary.

Hey, nice video, thank you for all the information! But I have a question: did the temple building get nerfed or something? Because I left my Odysseus and his army for like 6 turns in a settlement with tier 3 temple and they didn’t get any bonus… like, there are no yellow tools on their unit images and stats didn’t go up.

That is weird because I am sure it worked as intended in my recent campaign

@@SeriousTrivia Well, maybe it’s a bug on my save then. I just placed three other armies there and left them for 4 turns and nothing. Thank you for confirming it should work!

@@SeriousTrivia Oh well, I quit and restarted the game, and now it works. There are tools appearing next to dismissing the unit when I click on each individual icon, and I can upgrade every one of them without waiting for 80 copper and 10 gold. Not bad. Anyway, thanks again!

does Master Craftsman equipment upgrade replace the temple upgrade, or they stack together (for the total of 35?)

It’s replaces it. It’s a tier four version of it so only the highest tier every applies (think of it as holding the best quality weapon and gear and two sets can’t be worn at the same time)
