Serious Trivia, I have yet to see this video, but I need to tell you something and this new video seems the best place to do it. Keep going with the videos. From my point of view, your Three Kingdoms Total War videos are without a doubt the best on youtube. The way you analyze the game, your explanation of its mechanics and how passionate you are about it makes it a joy to listen to you. Your trivia and lore videos and everything in them are also great. You just started youtube this year, don't get discouraged. There's definitely quality and passion in your work.

I've had zero exposure to the 3k time period before total war 3k. Yellow Turbans always struck me as the good guys imperfectly fighting for the poor and marginalized.

I generally scrap up sources in Chinese using baidu to get a general idea of the story I want to tell then searching more online to get details to fill out the story. There isn’t one source or book I am going by.

gijsberg91 Book of Later Han 后汉书 or Zi Zhi Tong Jian 资治通鉴 may help. Not sure if there is English translation though.

Zi Zhi Tong Jian is very good and a personal favorite of mine but both of these are a bit hard to read even for Chinese readers. Some modern commentaries of both are probably better for starters

Dying young was a common thing at the time. The surprising thing is how long Liang Ji lived. But I would guess being neglected by her husband who she probably thought loved her, the last nine years of her life probably contributed to her early death.

Hmm not really. I like legendary characters with unique skills as it can create unique builds so I tend to like the big three of Cao Cao, Liu Bei, and Sun Jian just because they have the biggest roster of legendary characters.
