Ok, here's my new theory about this: The scavenger had a family, a wife and child (molly is the kid). The wife and child were sick, the wife was more sick than Molly, the scavenger may have taken Todd to make molly happy, or simply to trade for medicine that he could give his family. The person's body we saw when the snow was melting was the scavenger wife, she wasn't able to make it. The memorial we saw the scavenger at after the snow was gone was the wifes. The scavenger was upset and I think that's why he isn't afraid to shoot mother fox as no one wanted to trade the medicine for Todd, making him steal, and it still wasn't enough. Molly slowly started to get worse, just like her mother. I think the painting we saw her making the last time we saw her was maybe of her parents, but I could be wrong I'd have to go back and check. Since they're house was gone and Molly was getting worse, they decided to leave.

I am really loving this series, I hope we get Tod back. :c Also poor Molly, I think I understand what is going on and why that person needed fur. They are poor and can't afford medicine, so their only hope is that kit that he caught. I mean why else would he steal medicine and do stuff like that? It sounds like desperate situations both living creatures.

Game suggestion: rain world. You play as something called a slugcat and the game world doesn’t revolve around you. It feels like a real ecosystem where you can stumble upon two lizards fighting over a drop-wig you killed. The targeting system on the predators isn’t locked to you and there’s SOOOOO many creatures and they’ve adapted to this world and the other creatures and it feels natural. The rain is incredibly intense and crushes everyone not under cover, and floods everything, you’re only safe in dens. Overall, I think you’d enjoy this game

I just can’t help but think that the scavenger is “Molly’s dad.” The feeling that the scavenger is evil and selfish, and molly is nice, kind, and caring. Molly Evan helped the foxes many times and I bet she helps other animals to.

I do believe there is a connection to the furrier’s shadow stalking around the den while you sleep, and the days the furrier chases you if you don’t mark something. Edit: I’m not saying that if the shadow doesn’t appear you’re safe, I’m saying to make *sure* to mark something if you do see the shadow. He probably can still show up even if he doesn’t appear, maybe the game likes giving you a hint every now and then. Double Edit: I know we are away from the area where his shadow would appear at the entrance, but still.
