Parsley, as a black wolf, should not pair up with another black wolf. In one of the developer videos, it was mentioned that two black wolves would have sickly puppies and stillborns. Edit. It's also not a good idea for her to pair up with a Prospect Peak wolf since her father, Genesis, came from that pack.

I'll be honest I'm not too worried 😅. I had a 4 star wolf mate and one of the pups is sick right now, but with my 1 star mate they didn't even get sick, let alone die. I'm just not particularly worried until I actually see low diversity wolves do something 🤷‍♀️

Quick help with fighting wolfs: If they don't dart in and try to kill you immediately, growling and circling around increases their chances of leaving you alone. This works for any animal. Also, if you can't find a mate from the Wapiti pack, I think a Lamar dispersal wolf would be kinda cool because you did just see one try to sneak in and take over some Wapiti territory.

@@nojorooney you have to watch the little arrow on the top. It depends on 1) what kind of bear it is and 2) how aggressive they are. The arrow on the top tells u what the chances of it fighting or running are. If it starts out higher on the red, then maybe leave it alone. But if it starts higher on the yellow u may have a chance

Okay, funny story with finding a mate that happened to me. It was a normal game, and I quickly finished the first task. I was off to find some dispersal wolves. I came across one small group of 3 dispersal wolves, I wanted a mate with a black coat, because my wolf had a gray one, so the pups would be healthier. There was a black wolf in the group of 3 that I met, and I didn't really enjoy his presence. He had almost 4 stars, and I was kinda desperate, so I went on a trial run with him. We hunted an elk, and I decided that he was too lazy, and I didn't bond with him, so I ended the trial. Sure enough, that pack had already been following me before what I just explained had happened, and they followed me after, too. I found a new pack, with a 4-star black male, and 2 others, but before that, I caught their scent, along with the other pack from before, the one I had rejected. I thought it was weird, but followed my nose anyway. It led me to both of the packs, the one from before, and the pack that had the black wolf that would soon become my mate, and they were FIGHTING EACH OTHER!! I thought it was fascinating, and the pack I had now just met tried to escape, but the pack from before (rejected one) was following. While all this was happening, I was trying to bond with the 4 star male. I growled at the pack who was following us, many times, and they kept growling back, they were harassing me and the others, and it was one grey male from that pack in particular. Fast forward a few minutes, and I was on a trial run with my soon- to- be mate, and guess who followed us. It was the pack from before. I was getting fed up. I accepted the 4 star male to be my mate, and as we were on our way to Slough Creek, I heard a growl from behind me. And sure enough, the rejected pack had FOLLOWED us and now was trying to attack us (not even kidding). I killed the 2 main males who were harassing me, and let the one I rejected live. I just wanted to share that crazy story as Parsley is currently finding a mate, and I just found it kinda funny! Have a great day Seri, and whoever else is reading this! ^^

Epic story! I feel so powerful when rival wolves fight over me lol, but I’ve never had them pull an Ashfur. Also, two grays can have perfectly healthy pups. You really only need to care about coat color if you’re a BLACK wolf, as two black wolves have sickly pups.

Tips: right click to lock on, it's easier to hunt prey and fight predators. Stick To the Sides when hunting elk herds, you get into the middle there's a high chance you will be trampled and it will deal A decent amount of damage.

To find a dispersal from other territory you have to sleep in packs zone without taking it over first. It will give you a warning saying its dangerous and then if you try to sleep again it will let you, either a aggressive wolf trying to get you out of the territory or a wolf looking to leave its pack from whatever area you were sleeping in will show up or sometimes even nothing will happen and you will be unnoticed. (I'm not certain if this is the only way to attract a dispersal from another pack but this way has worked really well for me in the past) I think it would make a great storyline if Parsley steals a Wapiti pack member so I hope it works out.

Hey Seri, if you can get on top of a rock and go to sleep the NPC animals can't get on top of the rocks! So even if you wake up in enemy territory, you can just wait for them to be on one side of the rock and jump off the other side. It's also great for if you have a rabbit or chunk of meat, as the only predators that can get to it are birds and they have a hard time landing on the rocks usually.
