Hey Siri, mind if I give a tip for the game? In case you didn't know or has forgotten ^^ I think the mother lynx doesn't _need_ to eat in the game, it's best to give almost all food to the cubs so that they don't become too weak to travel. The circle at the bottom left is Inna's stamina, not hunger. It will regenerate itself halfway, I believe. But you _can_ let Inna eat every now and then to be realistic and to get a stamina boost, filling the circle more! Hope this is helpful. (Edited the comment slightly)

Hi yeah you are supposed to give most of the food to the babies but if you watched her series she actually did need to eat and it also restore stamina but soon the game is going to get harder and she’s going to need to eat because if you watch her series that she made before this she had to eat the game told her to so yeah I just want to tell you that😅

@@lpssummer6036 She does not need to eat. About half the stamina bar will refill all on its own, you could eat and drink to refill it faster or fill it more, but it is not in any way necessary

No she actually needs to eat because of the danger foxes eagles Forest fires and wolves in the winter area and also the bear beacuse the bear will not eat your cubs it will eat inna and those other pretators those eagles and foxes will take your babies and the forest fire spreads so she will need stamina its important

Hey Seri, love your videos!! If you're thinking of doing a Shelter 2 family tree series, something that I find really fun is rolling for whether each cub will be male or female when each litter is born by using a 6 sided die and making even numbers female and odd numbers male. The extra challenge comes with knowing that only female lynx can carry on the family tree - so if, say, you end up with a litter of all males, once they grow up, you would have to restart the family tree. Or say you end up with three males and one female, if that one female dies you have to start over - essentially if all your female cubs die, you have to start over. It adds some strategy and some more consequence to everything that happens, and just in general adds a bit of fun and (to some degree) realistic challenge!

They are at a stage when they're too old for just milk in the game and need to start eating meat! :D They only nurse exclusively from their mother for a few weeks - she starts supplementing their diet with meat as soon as their teeth and digestive systems can handle it, as it is more energy efficient on them all.

Oh my god hello ! I have over 100 hours in this game, so happy to see you cover it again !!! The devs are cooking their third installement with elephants too, keep an eye out for that :D Also fun lynx fact, Iberian lynxes are one of the rarest lynx subspecies, they can only be found in Spain ! They can be very easily distinguished from other lynxes by their unusually long cheek tufts ! Names I love for my babies are Bear, Eagle, Fox and Wolf, the 4 predators they have to survive against, I feel like it imbues each of them with some of the qualities found in their foes, and gives them just that little bit of an extra edge :D

This video was made 2 months so I doubt anybody cares, but I have a few tips for new players on how the survive :) this might be a tad long. I follow this migration pattern every generation I have. • Start in den area and feed kits 3 times so they follow me • Slowly migrate to the tundra. This is because the rabbit population rapidly decreases after a bit in the den area. • Once in the tundra, be very careful and stay near the plateaus (long circular bits of raised land which, when near, the game gives you the prompt to jump on) only leaving them to hunt and then bringing the carcasses back to them. • Keep near the plateaus until the sky darkens heavily and you hear howls, then jumping onto them. The wolves are coming. • Once the wolf attack is over, hunt to your heart’s content. No need to stay near plateaus afterwards as the wolves only come once during your time in the tundra. HOWEVER, if under any circumstances you leave the tundra then come back OR if you load a save in the tundra, go back to the plateau hugging strategy. The wolves will arrive once more. If you leave and don’t come back you should be fine though. • Wait until the baby-growing-up cutscene appears. The one with the text “Time passes, seasons change, strength grows, bone stretches. Living is hard.” • Leave back for the den, the rabbit population should have replenished and be enough for the rest of the game. If you’re traveling to the tundra, keep in mind The Lonesome Fog will probably arrive during the journey there. Sometimes it doesn’t, but here’s a short as possible guide if it does come. You know it’s coming when the sky darkens to a shade of purple and you see the fog in the distance. Don’t panic at all. Simply keep going, but do not run under any circumstances during the fog event. If your sight is very bad and you can only see a few feet in front of you, and the atmosphere is all purple, you’re standing in the fog. Don’t run out of it. Stay in it. There’s a myth that the fog takes a kit when you’re in it, but that’s a lie. It only takes a kit if that kit leaves your sight. Keep going, just don’t run and keep your kits close. Also, make sure to feed your kits often as possible before wolves come in the tundra. I lost two kits off my first litter because I couldn’t leave the plateau for food when the wolves came. Feed them in advance to prevent this from happening to you.
