Here's a tactic i've learned: Attack the Mother Elk intill shes this much ( ) away from death, Then let her run and follow her, she'll stop infront of a tall grass and thats probaly where the Baby is hiding, then while your mate is disracting the Mother Elk, Go in and snag it. I've found out that this only works with Mother Elk, Not Mother Mule Deer. I hope this helps! ^.^

I just wanna share what happened to my wolf today: Dragonfly was going back to his den holding a fresh mule deer fawn carcass. He still hasn't moved to a rendezvous site, since the runt of his litter - River - had only 12 pounds. The wolf still hasn't fully recovered from death of Crow - the only male pup in the litter. When Dragonfly arrived at the den he got greeted by his mate Ochre and his four daughters - River, Waterfall, Raven and Sunny III. As he was playing with the pups something caught his attention. An eagle was circling above the den. It was an attack. He woofed at his pups to go inside the den. Waterfall and Sunny III listened, but Waterfall started panicking and running off. He ran to grab her, leaving River rolling in the sand in front of the den, hoping she wouldn't panic. As he turned around with Waterfall in his mouth, he saw River panicking. He tried to push her back into the den while still holding Waterfall in his mouth. Dragonfly couldn't hold the pup any longer. He chose a moment when River tripped and was now laying in the grass and put Waterfall down. The eagle chose this moment as well. When Dragonfly looked up he saw eagle grab River who was still laying in the grass and fly away. The wolf froze. He lost another pup. He failed. Ochre arrived next to him. She was trying to keep the other two pups calm and not run out of the den so she couldn't help catch the other two. Before she could ask Dragonfly anything the wolf ran after the eagle. With tears in his eyes he shouted to the eagle to give his little daughter back. To late. It already flew away with the pup in it's claws. When he arrived back at the den he laid down on the ground and said: "I promised her that I'll show her the stream. Now she'll never be able to touch it with her own paws." Sorry for any grammatical errors, I'm from Poland.

My wolf sadly had a challenge to kill her runt so she did that means only 1 female left and my mate right next to her during an eagle attack he turns and lets the eagle scoop her up my wolf huntress will never forgive him for that EVER she chased the eagle till it was close into stranger wolf territory on the bright side her sister Bruno and her mate Diamond had a litter of 7

Hi, Seri! I saw that if you want your sick pups to recover you need to have very strong territory, bring a lot of food to your pups, spend about 30 minutes with your pups without sleeping. Sick pups have a higher chance at surviving, if your mate has high diversity. It's also important that if your pups are sick you can't sleep more than 4 times.

For newborns, I will usually run as close to mom as i can without kicking [because i play ironwolf and thats a big kick] and i will mark on the map where she is. Then I will run over every grass patch i see until she moves away from her marker. Its risky but she will run to her baby if i dont get stopped by stepping on them, and that will show where the baby is. Then its a matter of getting the bite marker on the baby and not the mom.

Seri, when I play WolfQuest and choose a den - I move the scent marker near it so that I am able to chase off Stranger Wolves easier. It’s just a suggestion to possibly make protecting the den hex easier. :)

Seri you have to chase the elk for a bit to really see the weak ones. They will gradually fall back, they won't automatically be at the back at the beginning of a hunt

@@audrey.70 That is true! She does haunt ditches, for the most part. Recently the myth has been expanded to include a wider variety of water bodies so that the legend stays current (no pun intended). La Llorona is probably one of my favorite myths and I am glad it has been expanded so that others can learn about the weeping woman 👻

For elk hunts, if you chase the herd for a little bit, the weakest of the elk will turn around and try to fend you off. It will take some time to find the weakest but it works.

About the nestlings: I saw a video a while back where a few birds (idk what species) were in a nest and mom came back with a beak full of worms. The first bird got like half the worms, the second two got a normal amount, and last got nothing. To make things even more sad, the last was still begging mom for worms for like another 10-20 seconds.

I personally think sickness is caused if the fleas start to get bad. If the fleas start to get 50% or higher, than in my opinion, that was an increased risk of sickness. I haven't played wolfquest before, so I haven't experimented on it to try out myself...but hopefully this could work for anyone who plays this game.

My favorite method is to first, find the mother. She is the center of the radius. Then, start off at the same angle every time to stay consistent. (I always start at 9' o'clock if we're talking clicks). Then, search the grasses in a straight line out until you find the maximum distance. Just continue around the circle stopping at every patch of grass as though you're on a string, and you won't forget where you've been and you'll get ALL the grass. Always make sure to keep your eye of the Mom because she is the reference point. This works best for me! I don't miss any fawns anymore. :) ❤️

A way to help a sick or runt pup to eat more and not have the other pups eat there food is to pick up the pup your trying to feed and take him/her away from the pups and then feed the pup. It usually works with me.

Idea for when we see dispersals and if Breeze howls: On the mists of a summers morning, the Stag Antler pack ( Name created by me, so not a real wolf pack) went about their normal day, hunting and marking territory. That was until the scent of the Cougar Creek pack ( a real pack in Yellowstone ) became overwhelming! It was a raid... The Stag Antler pack was small ( about 10 pack mates, the breeding pair, 3 adult offspring, one yearling and 4 pups) where the Cougar Creek pack was large ( about 14 pack mates, the breeding pair, 5 adult offspring, 4 yearlings and 3 pups). The CC pack (cougar creek) brough every member except one adult offspring and 2 yearlings. The battle soon began... Thought SA thought as hard as they could 3 offspring , 2 yearlings and the pups, were killed... Cc also lost members ( 1 offspring and both yearlings were killed). Fearing for their safety and mourning the loss of their pups, Sa left their territory and have been wondering as dispersals ever since but eventually got seperated. The Sa pack slowly died out but their spirits now wonder Yellowstone looking for their lost pack mates, howling to the sky in hopes to locate each other. It is said that once all members have found eachother that they shall finally rest in peace and watch over the other wolf packs of their beloved home. Hope you liked this! I think it will create a very interesting aspect of the Wq series and could be one of the generations life quests! To bring the Stag Antler pack back together! It could also cover up from when breeze howls :D
