Leopards, lions, cheetah, and a few small wild cat species do not like the water for a couple of reasons being that there are a lot of dangers in the water where they live and or it's simply too hard to get dry again (and wet fur is heavy). Tigers, jaguars, fishing cats, (and River clan) Love the water because there is usually food there, it's easy for them to dry off, and they won't become food themselves by taking a dip in the water.

A cheetah had been shipped to a zoo, and soon she cleverly escaped the disgusting children's petting zoo, and joined a squadron of her escaped comrades. But among them was slim-built tiger. They soon fell in love, and left the group of escapees to raise a litter of teetah cubs. They gave birth to them deep inside of a cave, late at night. They named the first cub Cat, after his domestic like markings. The next was Dragon, a slim striped teetah,, with the glowing yellow-brown eyes of a dragon. Nicole was a fluffy, speckled she-teetah, with a big smile. She was named after a fellow escapist, who had died in the shivering cold of these new lands. After Nicole, Dragon and Cat left to build new territories in this cold land. They had another litter, consisting of the Elanina was the biggest cub they had, named after the small cub that was brought into the zoo along with Rosepelt, who had failed to escape. Then there was Sia, the small eyed beauty, named after the dragons from The Tales, told to Rosepetal when she was a cub in the plains. Sundew was the small-headed tiger, named after Rosepetal's mother, Suntint. :P. Who can headcanons for her babies in the replies if you want.

Tigers like swimming but they don’t like getting their eyes wet so walk backwards into the water. Male lions do not like swimming because it gets their mane wet and weighs them down, I’m not sure about lionesses though. Suggestions Tiger + wolf Bear + cheetah Moose + chihuahua Hyena + wolf Hyena + coyote Dragon + tiger Firestar + Sandstorm (warrior cats)
