Freddie's voice was amazing indeed. But please keep in mind that the recording with Freddie was done in the studio with most likely more than one vocal track being mixed together (you can be almost sure of that, with a band like Queen), while this is a one-off live performance recorded on a cell phone. Therefore the direct comparison is a bit unfair in my view. But still, like I said, amazing performance by Freddie on the original recording, especially now that we know how sick he already was by then.
