Do they breed in captivity? Most crabs kept as pets are wild caught. Maybe these are easier to breed because they are fresh water?

I love it! And the pale shade of the wood that the tank is sitting on not only compliments the substrate and root system but also reflects the light just enough to illuminate unobtrusively 🤘

Nice, simple, relaxing video. Someone else commented that they liked you leaving the sounds of what you were doing in the video, and I agree, it was kind of like ASMR but with gentle speaking over the top. A great little project.

This is so zen, every lifeform in here is getting what they want and need with minimal interference, you just set it up and it will keep doing its thing. Also, I have a similar bowl to this, thank you for inspiring me to finally clean the glass! My begonia thanks you too!

Hi Tanner, i have been keeping plant terrariums for more then a year now.. all of them are store bought, but now thanks to you iam adding stuff, and it works out great.. since last week i am the proud owner of a aquarium, now waiting to for it to grow, and thanks to you ill wait just a bit longer for the plants to grow in

I obviously jump around time a bit watching your videos of your builds. As a teenager, my mother was into terrariums and indoor waterfall gardens. I can only imagine at this time, what she would have thought or built, watching your amazing builds. I'm crafty enough with other things as a painter/artist and other things so I don't know how I'd fit my love for terrariums, etc. into my time. In the mean time, I'll keep following you to see what you are doing next, fascinated as always with your talents and ideas. While I just lay down some paint to capture the 2D of out lives and enjoy my learned talents just as you have. 🙂❤️

I loved my micro crabs. They didn't live very long, although I rarely saw them so not sure when I lost them or why, but they were so exciting when I saw them. I would always check on them in the middle of the night because that's when they would be most active.

I love that substrate it just looks so relaxing when you mix them. You inspired me to get a peace lily I never knew you could grow some plants in water I am so excited and put it in the back of my fliter with my bamboo it looks so nice and my betta Toby and my 3 glass shrimp are so happy which makes me happy. :)

Great video. Most people would never even attempt doing something like this, they would rather go out and buy little Johnny a fish tank and load it up with store bought goods instead of teaching the child to have patience and creativity and vision. Great build, the end result is stunning and interesting..
